Yeah. It's probably due to the server swap. I had to wait more than 20 hours for my DNS to realize that the site was still there. It reckognized that it had moved from the old, but not that it had moved to the new server. So during those 20 hours I got a nice yellow warning triangle with "cannot locate the server at www.abandonia.com" You just have to wait it out. |

Abi79 | The IP ban only affects the forum, and not the whole site. |

Mighty Midget | Just a very silly question: Is it possible that the IP ban has gone a bit berserk on it's own or by accident? |

 :wallbash: ok.. If you try this: Go to google.com Search from Abandonia.com click the link Bookmark the page (http://www.abandonia.com/index2.php) Does that work, or is the site totaly dead from you? It all sounds VERRY strange to say the least. |

I posted this in the comments/suggestions section because this has all to do with this site. My primary computer that I use to access Abandonia and has all my personal files will no longer recognize "www.abandonia.com" as a URL. It finds the links in search engines, and it delivers me my topic reply notification emails...but no access... :wallbash: It doesn't recognize it in either IE or Firefox...I don't know what to do as I recently scanned with AVG and it found no viruses...please help me, it's a very large pain having to go out of my way and change computers to access Abandonia (the things I do for this forum...). If it's anyone who could help me, it would most likely be you guys...believe me, i've seen you all work your magic! ~a very stressed out Iowa~ |
