twillight The manual can be downloaded from www.replacementdocs.org

HELP PLEASE: Is there a way to turn off the annoying bleeps this game produces? I set at the setup "no music", but this seems to be some kind of sfx, and it is loud and annoying.

Btw. checked the wizard and the warrior characters, and the earth mage has the best spells (if you ask me), but the chas mage has the best stats (and look).
From the warriors the knight is only good for the equipment, the best stats teoretically belongs to the orc. But the golem seems to have an extra bonus on her AC, as it is unreasonably low when you compare the DEX-stats.

zizzeus Thanks for posting that workaround, although it isn't necessary once you get a backpack. Just put the common keys in the backpack and they don't disappear!

Also, Ethblade FTW!

common-key-problem

hey,
sorry if someone already mentioned this before, but i have a problem with this (in my opinion great) game:

(sorry for my bad english hehe im a kraut)
my problem is that at some advanced sage in the game the common keys start to dissappear without any sense.
i tried sometimes to start a new game in hope that this was just a nonreproducing bug, but allways when im at nearly the same location, the common keys slowly start to bail. the most annoying thing is, that this bugs comes after 5-6hours playing time, and without common keys you cant finish this game... does anybody has a hint?

Luchsen Or a non-direct link which adheres to the net etiquette.

Thank you for the answer.
I get "403 forbidden" page when attempting to download (using Opera).

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /files/game/h/hexx/hexx-m.zip on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Probably weird scripts somehow involved, DLed using IE.
