The Fifth Horseman Did you try changing your sound card's IRQ? A misconfigured interrupt is the most common cause of this kind of issues.

After trying to work with the program a bit more I am beginning to think that somehow the software doesn't work correctly with my Soundblaster card (not the pro version) because I can still get out of it by pressing the ESC key. but then I don't get any sound after that. Is there any way I can tweek it to make it (my sound card) function correctly?

The Fifth Horseman You did. The point is that MS-DOS and PC-DOS are not the same, most DOS software was produced in mind with the former rather than the latter, and therefore it would be a good idea to check if the problem doesn't lie in your operating system.

fleabag HELP!!! I ran the program, it gets through the introduction...and stops! How to I correct it (the computer that I am using to play it on is an old Packard Pell with PC-DOS installed on it)?

guesst *laf* I didn't even read the review. I realize that's what Ab is all about, different from other sites, but on a game like this, it's like "it's Dalek Attack. Nuf said."

TheBigBlueBox Yeah, this game stinks, but I resent the reviewers obvious disdain towards Doctor Who...

The new stuff is about 1000x better, so try watching some of it before you make fun...
