Wasn't Gettysburg a windows title too? Maybe not if you're being told to run it in DOSBox. _r.u.s.s. is right about Tib Sun - changing the registry to get it to run from E: should solve that one. As for Gettysburg I've no idea - did you mount the CD drive as a CD drive in DOSBox (mount d E:\ -t cdrom), then navigate to it (cd d and run either install or setup AFTER mounting your C drive as well (mount c C:\DOS Games\ or whatever)? Step-by-step: 1) Put the Gettysburg CD in your E drive 2) Make a folder on your HDD at C:\DOS Games\ 3) Run DOSBox 4) Type the following (pressing enter at the end of a line): mount c c:\DOS Games\ mount d e: -t cdrom cd d: install (possibly setup - one or the other should work) The installer should now start - let it install to C:\Gettysb or wherever it likes) cls cd c:\gettysb (or wherever) setup Possibly not necessary, depending on whether the installer set up the sound itself gettysb Again, whatever the executable's called - you can find it easily with the dir /w command - look for anything ending .exe, .bat or possibly .com |

yeah.. sure, tiberian sun and dos.. go to regedit and search(ctrl+f) for "Tiberian Sun" key or "Westwood" key, then move to "tiberian sun" key. maybe there are more so keep searching over and over again til you find one with something like this in it: Code:
... InstallFromPath********G:\ InstallPath************<instalation directory> Name****************** Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun ... oh heh if you feel like for manual clicking go straight to LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Westwood\TiberianSun |

Guest | For Tiberian Sun you can just change the compatibility settings. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

The Fifth Horseman | change drive letters. Some old games need to be ran from the optical drive with the lowest drive letter.

Japo | If you're to use DOSBox you can't have a problem, because you can mount the E:\ directory as the virtual D: drive. If you're trying in XP this could help, but I'm in no way sure: «SUBST D: E:\». You could add it in a batch file before calling the game program.

melthas | I know it's not possible but it generally happens when you install a copied-game and don't crack it. It would be very strange... LOL
