Read the post that says that again. It says available in the "extras on site, on the Last Half of Darkness gamepage". That means this site.

Last Half of Darkness EGA 1990 ORIGINAL!!

HELP!!

I have been searching for days and cannot find the original EGA (not EGA+!) version of The Last Half of Darkness ANYWHERE!! I've been able to locate EGA+ and VGA, as well as LHoD 2 and 3, but the original 1990 EGA version that I played as a kid is eluding me. I am beginning to think it is no longer available anywhere! This thread stated that it is available on the 'Extras' portion of the LHoD website, but that is no longer the case. If anyone at all has this classic gem that they could post or send along I would greatly, greatly appreciate it.

My e-mail is JesseS9770@aol.com. If anyone has a problem that I am not a registered user I would be happy to do so, however my sole purpose for coming here was to find the original LHoD EGA. I thank any and all users who respond in advance for your help.

eyeball226 On top of the EGA and EGA+ (with decorations, misnamed VGA), I have a version on a floppy disc which is the same as the EGA+ but with much better sound. I've tried running both the one off my disc and the EGA+ one on this site with the same settings in DOSBOX and the sound quality is considerably clearer on mine and doesn't require a separate covox speech thing driver loaded. Does anyone want this?

EDIT: Whoops, added it to the wrong game's thread. Oh well, I'll leave it here since it's still relevant.

dosraider Yeah but .... we have similar situations with other VGA/nonVGA games that you can't answer right, even if you check first for the correct version.
Moi can't remember the name of them right now. *sigh*

TotalAnarchy To avoid confusion with the VGA-EGA-VGA VGA versions bla bla bla, here's what I concluded we have:

-Last Half of Darkness EGA (available in extras on site, on the Last Half of Darkness gamepage)
-Last Half of Darkness EGA with interface decorations, called VGA (main download on site on the Last Half of Darkness gamepage)
-Last Half of Darkness VGA (true VGA, to be uploaded now with this thread, this will be the Last Half of Darkness VGA gamepage)

You can be sure every game here is a different version.
