troop18546 Don't get your wings in a knot, EoF. Yeeesh 1 off-topic post.
O.K. I played through for a bit with a warrior in Diablo and everything seems to works fine for the moment.
I'll comment later if something goes wrong (again).

C'ya.

P.S. My 24th level Sorceror killed Diablo!!! I got the level-up right after Diablo started choking on his own hellish blood . I don't know how you guys manage to get 3rd and 4th level spells and go up to 100th levels, cause I went through every tile in the game, killed all the demons (the last stampeed was spared a bit) and got to the measly 24th. But hey - I can kick behind better even on that level than youse . YAY for me!!!
HELLFIRE, here I come!!! WAAAAA!!!

Well, the 3rd and 4th and up to 10-15 (I think, varies with different spells) lvls of spells can be reached through reading the books of spells that you either find in the dungeons or can buy from that witch. About lvl 100, you can't reach that one through normal means, as max. reachable level in Diablo 1 is level 50, and you won't get enough experience in single player anyway to even come close to level 40. If you play the game in Multiplayer or Battle-Net then you can advance to next difficulty level after you killed Diablo at normal, just like in Diablo II, and there reach the max. level. But in Singleplayer-mode you can play only the normal difficulty.

Make sure you have the latest patch for the game. Diablo been notorious for it's numerous bug and crashes when it got out. Thing is, you simply needed to connect to BattleNet to get the patches in the past, I'm not sure if you can still do it that way. Worth a try if you ask me.

Well I have it patched to 1.09B for BT systems and it is fully up-to-date (mine doesn't update itself now, but on the first install I think it did.).
The troubleshooting thread said to go to 256 color palette, I did and I think I may have fixed the crashing.
I'll try to play for a long time to assure myself on that (the quality doesn't change - that's good).

troop18546 OK, my Diablo game is experiencing constant crashes when I, for example look in the inventory for a longer time or when I play it for more than 15-30mins. WTH?
I get this .ERR file in my Diablo directory that says this:

If I continue playing after a crash I get a blue screen, my pc crashes and after a restart - the pc blaims Windows: "windows has recovered from a serious error".
The blue screen once blamed an USB port, then one time some new driver "IRQL" (WTF?), then new software/hardware.

The strange part is this - my pc, when at startup shows me that it is 90 or more degrees Celsius (after the restart of the pc).
I have a new driver installed for my Graphics card, I play with the help of a CD-image (one other thing that is weird is that I used to play Diablo on the same pc (a pirate copy), but with a downgraded driver and it worked flawlessly. The original is crashing every time.). :wallbash:
Does anyone know what I should do? (part 1 - kill Blizzard...).
