Peter | Thought that speed benefit wasn't (that great) anymore in DOSBox 0.73, but didn't benchmark it. |

Possibly, but dos32a really speeds things up in dosbox. Also, just tested, runs even perfect in dosbox 0.73/WinfW Blast from the past, "PIF" editor. < click < click < click Additional tip, game uses a lot of space when doing a "full install", so you better set freesize to 500 or so ...... |

Works fine here. << click << click Replace dos4gw.exe in the game folder by dos32a.exe to avoid the laserlok copy protection. Simple as that. BTW, thank you for the upload Ermuli. |

Absolute Zero The game refuses to work through DosBox. Problem is that the game has LASERLOK protection which causes problems with DosBox, namely CPU:GRP5: Illegal call 7 error. I googled it and all I found was this old DosBox article, where someone has similar problems with Tomb Raider. http://vogons.zetafleet.com/viewtopic.php?p=158626 Anyone have any ideas how to solve this? I've been looking for this game for years and would really like to be able to play it. |
