If it runs choppy, try VDMSound. Note - I never used the Launchpad for this game, just went into Command Line and used a batch file that immediately went to the F:\DOSGAMES directory and fired up DOSDRV. Somehow, that worked better. |

Xcom Apocalypse is one of those games I never managed to run on this computer. Strangely enough I seems to have roughly the same machine than you. In the past, I ran Apocalypse on Win 98SE without problems. |

Xcom Appoc is friendly to win even XP. Xcom Appoc is friendly to win even XP. Change the sound config and the video options to minium. Maybe you already done that but i am not good as 5thH or EoF. They will come here in no time. |

newbee 1 | ok, running windows xp 2ghz, I've tried dosbox, vdm, and command prompt as well as changing the compatibility settings in xp and running it directly from there. It comes up black screen and then doesn't do anything else. |
