Psuedo guest I should also note that I was able to use get the cd version to run using dosbox (using steps mentioned in this thread). I should also note that I tried to install it on aforementioned Windows 95 computer with the nosound option and that too came up with the same series of errors.

Pseudo guest This may seem like an odd sort of query. But I am having issues installing Space Hulk from CD on a windows 95 computer. When I click on the hulk.bat it loads up a bunch of text (for instance at the end it says cr0: unavailable). This same sequence comes up when running the ms-dos prompt and typing in Hulk manually.

Running main from dos ends up in a similar error as mentioned prior
"Bad parameters - HULK [sound driver] [cd rom drive letter] [language e/f/g] [addr] [irq] [dma] [drq]

Restarting the computer in ms-dos mode and typing hulk at the proper directory (for me c:\hulkcd) leads to a different error message "Could not load sound driver:-F:\hulk\drv_dir\a32sp2fm.dll". Typing main in this directory leads to the same sequence as it did with the prompt on windows 95. Any assistance would be appreciated.

mack I have a confession, after double checking its not the abandonia version I was running.

A bit embarrassing.

Anyway, I have it working perfectly. Thanks for posting this awesome game.

The Fifth Horseman I don't think it's a bug. I've seen that in the floppy version way back, and it's a representation of "empty blips" from the board game.

mack In case this might be a bug with DosBox I have done some experimentation.

For information I am running DosBox 0.73 under Windows 7 64 Pro with an I7, Nvidia 480gtx and 4GB ram. Ive noticed if I watch the map when the genestealers group together waiting to attack some of them just disappear.

Can anyone else confirm this problem?

I have a dual boot hackintosh and under MacOSX bizarrely this bug does not happen.

mack Using a CD version of the game I have successfully completed the mission.

I still have no idea why the abandonia version fails, also the new voices on the CD version are horrendous.

The Fifth Horseman There's only one exit in that mission.

bihedue committed

Sorry if this seams like a daft question but I am having problems with advanced tutorial 9.

Ive sealed off both long north south running corridors with a terminator at each end and destroyed tons to Genestealers.

I can see the teleporter marked on the map the Genestealers are trying to get too.

After a few minutes of massacring Genestealers I get a message that 10 have escaped and the mission has failed.

Is there another exit point or is this a bug?

Im using the Abondonia version with dosbox 0.73.

The only things I have changed in the config is the output to ddraw.
