The Fifth Horseman It does work under 9.x, I played it on my old Win95 machine.
Try using Microsoft Virtual PC or an equivalent (VMWare, Bochs etc). These programs emulate an entire computer, so you'll have to get a copy of the appropriate OS and install it on them like on normal hardware. Also, they do not use or access your normal hard drives either, so you'll have to have a copy of the game on a floppy or CD.

BeefontheBone Well, you could always try MS Virtual PC (though it's only a free trial) or WINE under Linux. But compatibility should be your first port of call. Then Google.

efthimios I am sure I read something about one been in development, just a couple of days ago, but having no interest in such, I didn't pay attention.

Eagle of Fire I don't know of such an emulator, tough they may exist. In my general way of doing things under Windows, if it's a version difference then it either work or it doesn't. If it doesn't then I just don't use it.

Sorry, must not be of much help for you...

A. J. Raffles Have you tried running it in compatibility mode yet? I know for certain the game worked fine on my Win 98 computer...

Gametron Hey I'm trying to run an old game called "Castle of the Winds". It is made for Windows 3.x and I think it may work on 95. On XP I'm having trouble running it without an old windows shell or emulator. The game obviously won't run in dosbox. Can anyone lend me a hand getting it to work?
Thanks
