Just wondering if anyone knows where i can download the Settlers 2 Gold edition version for windows.?
It is not pratical for me to use the DOS emulator. whistling.gif
So if some one could find me the windows version , i would be most grateful biggrin.gif
I know it exists as ive used it before.

Why do not install a DOS? It take few free space, but will allow to you to play in different games.
I seen somewhere the Settlers III game, may be on this site.

No it doesn't, because the guy is not asking help to run an old DOS game, he's asking if there is a place he could download the Windows version. This have nothing to do with Troubleshooting.

Any emulator cannot replace the natively installed OS.

I can't give you direct link to archive files, because remote site prohibit to downloads using direct link. Anyway, I hope this help.

you know, there s lot of work with it and not everyone would want to do such a thing. some people dont know how to work/install drivers in dos, iam not even talking about lazyness of ppl who even know how to (look at me :D )
+emulator can fix settlers2 without any problems

1. we have settlers 2 on abandonia =/
2. if settlers 3 is abandoned then your previous post is not allowed and site you gave link to offers ESA protected games, that can cause some problem too...

Problems? I have no any problems with Settlers 2 under FreeDOS.

I know that - in fact that's why I built a DOS machine a while back.
I was asking the original poster why HE does not want/can use a DOS emulator (and why cannot he use a DOS/Win dual boot on his machine).
