Definetly 'Flight Of The Amazon Queen'
Discworld I&II, Broken Sword I and Sam & Max
I found these ones best for humour

If you don't mind a bit of action, there's also the Quest for Glory games, but they are a lot duller and I don't know if they're abandonware.

yes, but they're protected by ESA. and don't say they're dull, that is the best RPG series I've seen (yes, I did play both final fantasy and Elders scrolls)

You should definately try Cirque de Zale. It's one of the funniest adventure games out there!
You can get it at Abandonia Reloaded (http://www.reloaded.org/download/Cirque-de-Zale/3/).
(Though I must admit that the puzzles are too easy.)

Quest For Glory series rocked, you've just got to love the face he pulls when the healer kisses him. Try out some of the Sierra games Space Quest was also a good

Nothing can be like Monkey Island series!
Maybe Touch?... the other games has a too different kind of humor
I'm a bit angry because no one said Day Of The Tentacle...
