1)must be alike fallout
2)No blood
3)Rated T for maximum
4)Must be free and donwloadable
5)Must not take too much for download

Is it impossible for there to be a game like this?

Wasteland would have been a perfect choice, but you can't download it.

I know of no game which match all your criteria. Your first criteria, which is that it must look like Fallout, is already very restrictive. Fallout is one of those games which is quite unique and can't be redone easily.

Let's change to TB RPG

I suggest either Baldur's Gate or that you go on Abandonia main page, select the sub-category "RPG" and try one of those games. ;)

Can't find Baldur Gate?

It is huuuuge game that comes on 3 CD (if I'm not wrong) and that you can play for days and days.... :)

I have it, but never played it, neither I played BG2 nor IceWind Dale (have them all)

I really should stop buying games and play the one I have :D

BTW, what is FO game?

Arcanum is a good RPG, plus is one of the only games I've seen with a Fallout style combat system.

It's not free but should be avalible in your local bargain bin for a very reasonable price.

Arcanum, the BEST RPG of all time. From the creators of Fallout, so the basic system is very similar, just in a different timezone (oldsville). Havell knows his games. :ok:

P.S. Price, I bought mine for about 5-6 bucks. New one. I'm glad I decided to take it better than Diablo.

It all depends what version do you have??

I have collector edition, which apparantly suposed to be better compressed.

But as I said, I am not sure 'bout this. Will check it.

They were cheap, so I bought them. Reason why I don't dare to start playing them is that they can take way too long to complete...

At least that's what I heard.

I started way to many games, so now I'm trying to finish them all. :D But BG will have to wait. ;)

Gufu,

rated T means you can have some blood, as well some sexual scenes and crude humor. (Just checked rating label on couple of the games)

What you after is rated E (everyone)

And your options are not that great.

I would say Jagged Alliance is close to fallout (not sure if is ESA protected).

Nope. DEFINETELY start with BG1 and the Addon and THEN play BG2, because, you know, there's this nifty continuing storyline-thingy... ;)

EDIT: and yes, BG1 HAS 6 CDs...

Aaaah, those were the days when I actually still HAD enough time to let much of it be consumed by complex computer games like this... :w00t:

I tried the first part, I was disappointed at how short it was. Most of it was spent searching for the person you needed to find..

*shrug*

You're not going to find an abandonware RPG as good as Fallout. Similar in some regards maybe, but that's about it. I suppose you could try the Magic Candle series and Bloodstone, they're turn based and non-linear... Betrayal at Krondor is excelent, IMO, and freeware. You could also try some of the old D&D/AD&D games... maybe the Dark Sun games. I think they're abandonware...

If you're willing to spend money your options will increase, but they still won't be like Fallout.
