Warhammer - Dark Omen [SOLD]

This was one of my favorite strategy games.I had the PSX version,never played the pc version(probably a lot better).I can't find it anywhere though.I'd Love to see the full-cd version here!

I gave mine (but not Dark Omen. 't Was Shadow of the Horned Rat) to my bro a few months ago. Could ask it back and see if it's under the maximum 30Mb.

I used to play it multiplayer and that was fun. I can forage for a copy if you can't get one.

I don't think Dark Omen could be seen as abandoned yet. Shadow of the Horned Rat may be, and I have it too in case you need it, but Dark Omen should be still sold on some places. Also it's CD size doesn't allow us to place this game on Abandonia, even if it's abandoned already. ;)

I never got past that mission where you need to kill somebody that's on the other end of the battlefield and flees from it (which only takes 'bout five steps for him) when you're halfway the field :blink:

The HOTU is like 28 mbs. But if its not abandoware, then I suppose it's not really worth putting on this site, just because of the risk.

HOTU has a 40mb version on site. This fact is rather interesting, as they had a referrer to Games Workshop not too long ago and expressivly state that GW wants them to remove all Warhammer and Space Hulk based downloads. All the GW titles are now available for download again.

Either this is an error, which happened through their last update, or they've got a special permission to host the games meanwhile. (I can't really believe that, though.)

BTW: Great game! I used to play it for ages. Perhaps one should use this opporttunity and get the game... :whistle:

Yeah, it's a top game. I could only ever get so far though. Unfortunately there was no option to save mid-battle, so you either played to the bitter end or had to quit and lose all of your progress in the battle.

The multiplayer is pretty damn fine too.

Man, good memories. I remember getting to this mission with Nagash in it (it involved a chariot or something) and then getting my arse kicked really, really swiftly, as I had pretty much no army.

Remember kids, stay in Bogenhafen - Helmgart is a lot easier and you get the Book of Thingummy which gives you an extra spell from a building with yellow smoke coming out of the top. It has a book sign on it too, which is handy. Get it at the end of the mission, your Bright Wizard can't use it by merely picking it up mid-battle, sadly.
