This site has a write up about some Lucasarts games. There is info on how The Dig came to be, as well as lots of differences between different versions of some games. Interesting read.

FM Towns was a Fujitsu PC system (released around 1989) which had more multimedia capabilities than other systems at the time. Seems that it only gained any popularity in Japan for a short while.

Actually there were some nice upgrades made to games targeted for FM Towns. I know there was a Ultima VI (http://www.abandonia.com/games/95/download/Ultima6FalseProphet.htm) version out that had speech in it. Check http://originmuseum.solsector.net/beuche/

I'd seen all them. And from a better looking site. In fact that's where they got them from. Except for that Mac Loom. It doesn't suit the game. The font I mean.

I have it. :) The original with Full Throttle and Dark Forces demo. (Yes, the game and demo came with it. How odd.)

They had too much free space on CD. LOL There are more game-demos CDs from Lucas Arts.

FMTowns games in general had better graphics and sound from DOS games. Too bad it is hard to run FMTown emulator, but after long setup, I was able to start couple of games (All Lucas Arts), and all of them had speach.
