In other words, a game you bought and can with clean conscience say you didn't regret a single cent of its price.
For me... Unreal Tournament 2004.
Great gameplay, great graphics, awesome music. The gameplay drags in like quicksands, and it's both hard enough to give a challenge and easy enough to not cause unnessecary frustration. I've beaten all the ladders except CTF one (just one match to achieve that, though), and that's on Expert. Enjoyed every second of the game played thus far.
Fave elements:
Assault map Convoy on Expert Bots (11 bots evenly divided between the teams) and 5 minute time limit
Morpheus 3 Team DM map
InstaGib Team Deathmatches
Assault map on Skaarj Mothership
And the big plus is that my FPS skills began growing expotentially in the last few days... not that I sucked at this kind of games, not at all, just that I didn't really use what I had to the full extent.
Now, where did I put my Quake 1 config file? Time to make some adjustments to it...

Havent bought any games lately. Although I am sort of thinking about buying Call of Duty Deluxe edition. I wanted to buy CoD 2 but after reading some reviews I found out that it was more or less like its predecessor.
Oh, and Horseman, you might want to check out the mod for UT2004 called Red Orchestra if you havent already done that. It should be very good. :ok:

Man, do I feel guilty about this-- Microsoft Crimson Skies.
Yes, it is a product of the evil empire, but I purchased it at a deep discount.
Along with a great shoot-em-up game with an aerial theme, you get a half-hour radio play that is not half bad. The flight simulation is apalling, but accurate flight characteristics would take away much of the fun.
I bought it, because it was based on a boardgame that I own, but could never find anyone else to play with(my wife prefers simpler games like the crayon rail games, or more involved games like AH Advanced Civilization [not to be confused with the computer game of the same name]).
Aside from it supporting Microsoft (which has nothing to do with its play value), it was my favorite game purchase, after Master of Orion.

That's the thing I love most about the Unreal Tournament games.
Although I didn't buy the game it would most certainly be worth the money. I did buy 2003 though and that is just as great for the same reason.
Anyway last game for me would be Star Wars Battlefront. The hard setting actually makes some maps near impossible, which gives the game a lot of replay value, which is essential for such a game. Unfortunately my brother bought Battlefront 2 before I could.

Fallout 2 with many mini quests was better IMHO.
All money spent on: GTA games, LucasArts adventures, Sid Meier's games is well spent money. :) LOL
I recently bought ; The Urbz sims in the city. For $20 it wasn't a bad purchase, but have I payed more for it I would of been dissapointed. This game kinda breaks away from the other sims games.

No question, Freedom Force and then the expansion, Freedom Force vs. the 3rd Reich. If you like silver or golden comics in any way, this game is incredible (not to mention the great X-Com style squad based play). Can't recommend it enough.

Aw, Fahrenheit, I really want to get that. I've played the demo and I've also played the full game at a mates house, it's a great concept.
Heard it's a bit short though?

good price in here we can´t find, here almost all games costs 50€ and more..
True, that why i bought them.
50 Euros is the price a game that just cames out;
Even warcraft III a few year old.
They sells their games 50 euros (tottaly abusive price) and then  No one buy the games, because every one download them. No, that's because they're too expensive you idiots !! :wall: (same goes true for DVD and audio CD) (I dont buy a game unless under 20 euros. I'd rather wait a few years !)
(ps : sorry. But pasing my nerves on this kind of things do some good)

I agree with you if they put the price lower, more people will buy and they make more money, i don´t understand their idea..... :ot:

Ooooh, now it's Psychonauts - Tim Schafer is my new god.
I bought Call of Duty and Call of Duty United Offensive for only €14,00! And have just ordered CoD 2 for only € 23,00 :woot: I've been playing the last one illegally for two weeks now (because I didn't have the € 55 they asked for it before) but feel Activision really deserves those bucks... Those are defintely my favourites right now!
Today bought Command and Conquer: The First Decade. As a true fan of the series, I just had to have it! It contains every single Command and Conquer game and expansion ever released. In details:
C&C and C&C: Covert Operations
Red Alert with Aftermath and Counterstrike
C&C: Tiberian Sun with Tiberian Sun: Firestorm
C&C Renegade
Red Alert 2 with Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge
C&C Generals with Zero Hour
Package contains 2 DVD's, every game is optimized to work on WinXP and runs smootly. And all that for about €30! :w00t:

The C&C collection I bought did not include all games as your collection, but I already had rest of them. Still if I come across this set, I'll get it. Thanks for the info on optimization.
Last weekend in addition to my purchase of GTA: SA special edition for PS2, I also purchased Trigger Man and Medal of Honor: Rising Sun, both of them for NGC.

I'm planning to buy Commandos: Strike Force, I played the demo (http://www.commandosstrikeforcedemo.com/) today and it was quite enjoyable.
Game's out 17th of March.

Yes, can't wait for the Commandos game.
I used to play it when the first game in the series came out.
A really tough tactical game, but it was great.

I thought so too at first.
But it caught on after the first mission.
Blowing up that bridge then swimming across and poking soldiers in the back with my knife was exhilirating.

Not much like it, much slower and more methodical.
TES III: Morrowind, Tribunal, Bloodmoon.
Icewind Dale II
Tribunal is the best add-on IMHO. Icewind Dale goes with no comments. :ok:

Have you met the naked nord in Tribunal yet? He has one of the funniest lines in the game (especially if you've found the nords in the original)
Icewind Dale II is a great hack 'n slash. It is worth playing through twice, once on the hard mode and then once in the very hard mode (the one you can activate after satisfying certain conditions in the initial run through). Good luck with the end fight.
