starcraft! dont know why...but it was between one of the crafts, and i thought the starcraft storyline captured your interests throughout...plus the heroes and their voices were cool...especially that guy...what was his name? from the terrans...AOE was nice too.

Anyway, Total War serie is RTS or TBS, in battle is RTS but the commanding game is TBS.

Raynor...thats it! He was always hitting on that other female character...i think she turned into a zerg toward the end...but i must say...i was over the moon when that protoss dude died and later came back as a dragoon...i need to play the game again...too bad my copy of it got stolen

So, I liked most Shogun TW. But the full campaign game can by played without personal commanding in battles so u can avoid RTS and end it.
