I don't know if is Revolution still sale this game but I search it for ages and I don't find it where I can download it. I don't know if it's wrong if I ask on this forum where I can download it?

I just know that this is the greatest adventure game of all the time.

Well I agree it is a great game and I would love to see it on the site too (since I lost my copy of it  ) but I'm afraid it is still being sold, so not abandonware yet.. :sneaky:

Still being sold on budget- both it and BSII are on the Sold Out range in the UK. You could probably get both for under a tenner.

It's being sold at play.com (http://www.play.com) for ?5 each, I know they still have them as I bought them both a couple of weeks ago. I don't know if they ship overseas but as long as you're in the UK you'll be fine.

Yeah, beautifull game! I borrowed it to my friend (don't know who) and never got it back. :(
Life can be sometimes unfair!

I don't know if it's wrong to ask you where I can download the full game (iso file) for free?

It's ok to ask, but illegal to answer

heh
I'd tell you if I knew.

By now Tom has heard me tell this story a thousand times:
I got Broken Sword in a package containing games like Return to Zork, Master of Orion 2, sim city 2000 network edition,...

I have played it twice.
The game is made up of two cds
cd 1 has withstood the test of time... while cd2 has a huge scratch in it
thus... I cannot play it anymore.
I can run the isntallation flawlessly (with sound and all)
but once in the game there are no mobies, there is no sound.
It goes very slowly and then it crashes due to the Broken Disc.

ooooh life is cruel!

So
The Broken Sword disc is the only disc I have ever broken... oooh the irony!

Stroggy you should try using ScummVM to run your Broken Sword if you have enough disk space for it (1.5 gigs or thereabouts) since they have recoded the movies and have them for download on their site. That would just leave the speech problem, maybe copying the files directly to the hard disk would work even if your CD is knackered.

I tried scummVM
how would I go about copying everything to the hard disc?

Jumjalum

It's all detailed in one of the sections (the one on multi-CD games IIRC) of the ScummVM readme, you have to copy certain files and folders from each CD and rename the speech files.

meeeah
that sounds like a lot of work
which takes a lot of time
time I don't have

bah... why can't they just sell those old games again
either they give it out free, or they sell it.
But at the moment they aren't doing either one of those options
damn them
and damn the fact that my brother broke my cd

Let this be a final warning.. the next person, no matter WHO, that does this kind of talking, WILL be permanently banned without any warning, ok?
We run a freaking serious site here, and if any of you warez-kids as much as sugest where to go and get a game, you'll get thrown out at once, with no chanse of returning.
Don't try to get around this by PM, as it's just as easy to monitor.

As good as the Broken Sword games are (especially the first) I wouldn't think they'd be freeware yet.. seeing as you can still buy both of them from most game shops..

If you like point and clicks though.. I'd recommend running on over to the ScummVM Website (http://www.scummvm.org) where you can download 'Beneath A Steel Sky' and 'Flight Of The Amazon Queen' for free. They're both brilliant point and clicks.

As long as I know these games aren't abandonware and ,even if they were, they are huge. I'm lucky that I got them from a games magazine :Brain:
