Ultima 7: How To Run It?

I've decided to play all of U7 again: the two main part, and their add-ons. :)

I've also seen references here to Exult, DOSbox, and some patches that supposedly do it all. Which is the best way, in your opinion, to run U7, and why? Thanks!

Exult would be my advice (Check the Ultima 7 review/thread here). It's made specifically for the purpose of running it, can be easily set up (just install then tell it where the .exe file for the game is) and after that you can just use the icon to start the game up straight away.

Thanks. I've decided to try Exult, and it did run immediately. I like the ability to change resolutions, too.
