So what was last game you've completed, what system and if, what emulator?
Also if you have some 'in process' games, list them too.
Last couple games I completed:
Castelvania, Nintendo 64 using PJ64 1.6
Metal Slug 1, Neo-Geo (coin ops) using NeoRageX
Castelvania had nice story, while Metal Slug is just simple side scrooling shooter.

Metal Gear Solid - PSone
Terranigma - SNES
The only ones I remember right now.
I don't really play that much, so that should
be about it.

Arx Fatalis, PC.
Working on Heretic II but got stuck in 3rd level.
Started "working" on Terra Nova. Currently in 9th mission (out of 29 i think)

Iron Lord (C64 version - Frodo emulator), I really had a craving for it after reviewing it, especially since I never really got to finish it (always got stuck in the castle - 85% through the game at least).

My current game on the go is a superhuman game of Enemy Unknown, with enough money to stop me from having to micromanage my engineers. To make things interesting, I also have the goals of filling out the ufopedia, but I expect to fail (I had enough trouble collecting a live etherial, how am I ever going to capture enough alien medics to get the sectopod report, or get ahold of a sectopod corpse).
The last game I completed was either Master of Orion, or Colonization.
I do not count games of solitaire or minesweeper, as they are too short and I do not play them for any other reason than to fill in the time I spend waiting for a webpage to download to my browser.
I have noticed that most of the games that I really enjoy playing are turn based strategy games by Microprose. I play Civilization, Enemy Unknown, Terror from the Deep, Colonization, and Master of Orion. Are there any good Microprose games that i have missed?

Oh... Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, GBA, played through Visual Boy Advance.
Right now I'm trying to beat Circle of the Moon.
Are there any good Microprose games that i have missed?
Mechcommander. Great game.

I have couple games on GC, including Metroid Prime, StarFox Adventure, ViewtifulJoe, Mario Sunshine (came with GC), some 007 game and nothing wrong with it.
But major reason I've bought GC is to play GBA games on it, so I got GB Player for GC. ;)
@the_fifth_horseman - I finished Castlevania COTM. Played fine all the way to the last boss, where I had to cheat, as it was way to hard to beat.
estica – not just for PC. Any system.
Quintopotere – I finished pang with a friend of mine. It was hard to finish couple last levels, and it took us same time to finish last three levels as to finish previous 47. :D

Oh yes! You rock :ok:
One time I arrived very near to finish pang playing with a friend... but he had to go home, so we had to stop playing just a couple of levels before the last one...

Last completed? Prince of Persia - Two Thrones. Gamecube.
...if you're talking technically though, Metal Slug 3. Mame arcade.
The only thing I would use a gamecube for is MGS and Shooting practice
Oh totally. Metroid Prime? Horrible. Zelda? Terrible. F-Zero GX? Garbage. Animal Crossing? Utter rubbish. Resident Evil 4? Poop. And Zelda TTP? Soon to be a waste of a disc.

WHAT PLANET ARE YOU FROM??!!!
Zelda ROCKS!! i can't wait for twilight princess, it looks AMAZING!!!
i believe metroid was a load a pants
but if you say residental evil is crud then it's personal :ranting:
those games rule!
way way way better than any combat game those are just replays of war and influenses consequence. they should be band! all they do is just set up poor saps and get 'em fighting because it happens and you know when your old enough you can kill other people for real...
and before any one starts a) resident evil it's never gonna happen, when am i or anyone else gonna go around shooting re-deads, in real life kiddo?
B) zelda, is a lot of fun and i think the only idea your gonna get from it is making a comic strip... seriously.

Have you ever heard of sarcasm? Like really. I tried to make myself very clear. I thought the fact that the last game I beat was on the gamecube would help get the point across, but, apparently not.
Seriously. That responce scared me.

@ Dark Angel: And you have the guts to call another person "kiddo"... LOL
@ topic: Played GTA until the "S.A. Riots" when you have to take control of the turfs AGAIN... lost my nerve there pretty quickly. Up until then I was really deep into the game, but that just made me wanna throw up.
Almost the same with "Simpsons: Hit & Run". Only it was the very last mission here.
Because of that, the last game (or last NEWER game) I really "completed" would have to be "DooM 3"... and even THAT was quite some time ago now.
I won't mention all those emulated games I beat in the meantime, since it's not really a comparision to beating newer games. But there were LOTS ;)

Half Life 2, PC.
But that was the second time over, perhaps the last game I beat for the first time would be Rainbow Six: Lockdown for the Gamecube.

Can't remember actually. HL2, but I'm sure I've done something since then. My Gamecube's dodgy and kept getting graphical errors in Metroid Prime, which was highly irritating and led me to stop at the same point I usually do (about 65% in I think).
Several games of Civ 4 I guess.
oooh, actually I remember - Darwinia. Gorgeous, original, but too short and too easy.
@TGM: *I* could tell that was sarcasm :) Not a Res Evil fan, but Metroid Prime rocks, and I usually hate FPSs without a mouse. Zelda: TWW was pretty good (very good-looking) but I thought it was a bit too easy compared with OoT (just remembered I never got round to playing that actually, it came with the special edition...). I'm playing Vexx at the minute for some reason (mainly because I never finished it) - it's pretty mediocre, would be better if the camera wasn't so rubbish. Why is it that the most important bit of those 3D platformers never seems to get enough development time? The only half decent one I can recall was Mario Sunshine's (finished that a while back, too actually), and even that had its moments.

Perfect 3D platformer was the original Mario 64, which I am currently playing on my DS.

Well ya, but for now CS:S is all I need for online shooters, sides, why would I get Socom when I can get FF!!!! :w00t:
Blood-Pigggy
25-01-2006, 12:10 AM
Because Socom is better than FF :bleh:
But seriously, don't get Socom, you may say "Socom, meh" now, but after a week of playing online over a headset (especially if it's Socom 3) it'll be the only thing you'll want to play.

And I'm into the last act of X-Men Legends 2: Rise of Apocalypse on PSP, it's been 45 hours so far, but I think it will still be another 6 or 7.
