Today: Another useless topic byyyy..... (this is were you all shout "TheChosen")
kidding. Anyway, I'm an average player when it comes to Egoshooters, but when I'm in a team with several other people, I'm almost the best, regardless of their skills. I'm the best team player, if you will.

Well, it all depends really on what kind of a game it is. I'm above average when it comes to puzzles, adveture games, thinking games and games involving mazes (labirinths).
I'm not that good (nor did I ever really care to improve) with FPS, role-playing, flight-simulators.
I'm average at platformers, strategies and sport games.
And I'm below average when it come to your Chosen poll-making skills :bleh: (did you really wish to find out about our skills or are you haveing a nostalgic attack and are doing polls for the old times sake  ).

I'm not very good at playing games, but I'm an expert on having fun with them :)

I pick up on games very quickly, and normally can be winning them by around the third round if it's a new game (if we're talking multiplayer stuff like Halo and Smash Bros.)
As far as Computer games go, especially adventure games, I've been playing them for so long that I recognize a lot of the patterns and such.

Depends. Usually I'm average, but if I really like a particular game, I'll push myself to the limit to achieve utter perfection.
Generally, I'm better at arcade/action/platform titles then strategy ones (though I like them a lot), and kind of average on mech simulations (the only sort of simulation I can be persuaded to touch).

That describes me perfectly ;)
I'm not a good player, but I've fun even when i'm not able to finish a game... The important is to participate... And winners don't use drugs :ok:

You just became our official philosopher - we should make this as a slogan:
You don't need to be good at playing a game, just be good at enjoying it! :ok:

There was no option ‘Best of the Best Players’, so I had to satisfy with ‘The Best Player’. Good thing that no one is asking if I’m ‘Winning Player’.

My playing skills are pretty bad, but my enthusiasm on playing makes me an average player.

Impossible to say.
But I have a bizarre habit of just managing to kick behind the first time I play a strategy or fighting game.

I'm the best in the business when it come to PC games. Hardly a game I have finished not among the games I have played. I got the goods in Shooting and Car games my personal Favourite.

Until today I was able to beat almost every game I played, one way or another (cheating NOT involved, but using "loopholes" in the game design, KI etc. involved). There are only a few games I didn't beat until today, and that was always because I lost the patience or the fun of it all at a certain level. However, this is obviously only true for single player-games.
Concerning multiplayer, I'd consider myself an average (beat-em-ups, rpg, action) or even below average (FPS, strategy) player. Allthough I'm a good team-player in arcade-platformers (like Snow Bros. :ok: ).

I am, usually, well above average but below great. On FPS servers I end in the top five most of the time (most of the time ranking third for some reason).

playing CS or other FPS on the netI am pretty underaverage but when I play with some friends around (LAN party with 30 ppl) I am in the top 3 .... so it depends on who you are playing against ...
I chose "average" 'coz that's what my overall gaming skills would look like but I bet that hardly anyone can beat me in Turrican, SpaceInvaders or Centipede.
But on the other hand it's hard to tell what my average skills would look like 'coz I normally play games some hours (e.g. GTA or NFS) and then when I get stuck at the same place serveral times I just cheat and then play another 30 minutes and then lost the fun with the game ...
My average gaming time for each game I own is about 3 or 4 hours ... they allll got boring after a while - except HL2, LockOn, NFS MostWanted and CIV4 ....

Yeah, I rarely play multiplayer FPS'es, but usually when I get the hang of the controls and the level, I'm a difficult prey.
