Hey, this is quite well known, and Fallout fans all over have read it, but it hasn't been made public on these forums.

Go check out the Fallout bible at this link.

You'll never need to ask anymore questions concering Fallout ever again.

On a related note, the Fallout storyline leading to the Apocalypse is creepily similair to today's events.

The US invades Mexico (Akin to Iraq and etc) and in their attempt to take hold on oil and resources, oil prices increase, same with gas and etc. Europe turns their attention to these rising prices and etc. and begin to focus attention on the US' somewhat monopoly over oil, the resource wars begin afterwards.

US launches the first nuke at Canada, retaliation occurs, and soon after, everyone is blasting eachother apart.

See the similarities?
-Resource Shortage
-Nation Tension
-Threats of Nuclear Weapons

It's kinda weird.

Yes, I've read the Bible. It's quite good, although they miss a few things here and there. Little stuff, mind you, but stuff nonetheless.
Fallout was a tool of prophecy, not a game. Fallout is god.

There's stuff missing because the bible was never finished.
Black Isle was disbanded, and MCA wasn't able to continue the Bible.

Aint bethesda software (makers of the brilliant elder scrolls series) making Fallout 3? I heard they picked it up and was making it alongside Elder scrolls Oblivion

Yeah Bethesda is making Fallout 3. Don't keep your fingers crossed that it'll be done anytime soon as just about the only news I've about it is an interview where the phrase "Too soon to say" was uttered far too many times for me to really care. :P

I too miss Black Isle, very much infact. :(

The screenshots looking very bad. But it's to early to say somthing about the Game.
The RPG-System is the keyword for me.

I would assume that the screenshots for a game produced in 1997 do indeed look "very bad".

But they don't even look bad for their age, the Fallout games actually had some nice graphics.

well the first two are the basis of every war (yes, including the crusades) since ancient egypt.
and if you cinsider the cold war a war, than all three were the basis of that.

fallout rulez, BTW. :kosta:
