Just to warn that you can't speak on your mother language, it's the rules...
On the other hand I think there are couple of Russians, a1s and Nick are the first ones that poped into my head...

Ya tozhe russkiy. I zhivu v Rossii. :)
I didn't understand, why you can't post on your native language. How it can harm the forum?

There was a relaxed attitude to it in the past. Huge conversations and threads in all sorts of languages resulted. Very frustrating for 95% of the forum, who can't speak the language in question.
EDIT: So keep it in English, except for the translator threads. Or swift and effective mod action will be taken.

Yah. Bush will be angry if he sees terrorists speaking non-english languages...
No, just kidding, this will really looks like Babel if everybody keeps talking his native language... Nobody would understand my Brazilian Portuguese if I wanted to, n?o é mesmo?
Oh, this topic was meant to be answered by Russians... My bad, won't happen again...

I have nothing against russians, altought Russia (Soviet Union) & Finland had a war.
Oh, my best friend is half-russian, half-finnish.

That would make it very difficult to "MOD" these forums.... We all are supposed to be "civilized", but if we have too much freedom, that freedom can turn to something else.
I could say a lot "dirty words" in Portuguese, and only a few members would understand them, but what would visitors think when they stepped in to these posts: "hey look, these guys are a bunch of retarded, and no one controls them"
Although some rules may look too severe, they all exist for some reason, so let's try to accomplish them :ok:

i wasn't saying "let's start swearing" ...it would be nice to have a section for other languages...(i may be able to learn some new words) but i know it's impossible....
