i played and played, but there is just too many stupid people on public servers. if you make a server and if i get a good ping (max 150) on it then i am in.

I know passes of couple of mostly empty Croatian servers, but I'm not sure if I can give them away cause they have recently changed the passwords, because some foreign clans were (mis)using it and kicking everyone else out...

well it usually say why you've been kicked, but the most common reasons are loosing packets (bad connection), wrong name (it has some character limits, what can and can't be used as players name) or too many complaints (if FF is on) - i hate this one. why? because it's not my fault when i kill teammate. it's either by accident or they step on my mines (which are always on good positions) and then they complain.

If you check the other threads you'll notice that Shunk Eat Enemy and I play Enemy Territory constantly. Well, I used to, but he still does. Try and contact him. He plays on some great servers with great guys.

please play our server we got great custom maps and its always emtpy but me and Tai(virus) or Rabies(virus) are usally there in spec but we leave spec and always play. Worm(virus) and westnile(virus) never play ever

@ Tulac - ping from 200-250 is not that bad. it's more or less what you get on 56k modem. and it's still fun to play with. I had it when i played Unreal tournament, Firearms halflilife mod, Day of defeat HL mod...

I'm on DSL I never played on my 56k, since ping in Europe is 40-50 I'd rather play there ;)
But then again I mostly Call of Duty which is a slower game, so ping is more important cause there are weapons that kill with one shot and you need to be precise, UT and ET are more spraylike and much faster so I guess it's not so noticeable...

it doesn't work... you dont' have the lastes version. it says the server doesn't have the same version. it also says to cklick on update button which should appear if i dont' have the latest version. well since it didn't appear... that means you don't have the latest version.

Am i right??? :help:

Sorry to bring this up again but what about ET now? Still playeing it? Coz recently I started it and really found a very well server from poland! Only traditional maps (which are the best in my opinion) and always many players (mostly about 30).

It's the #3 Quakewars.pl server, IP is 62.75.161.186:27960

Yeah, funny thing. My ping is 999+ on that server it took me five minutes to get out of the respawn and up stairs just to the right.

In the server overview there's a button "connect to IP". Fill in the number I posted and you will land on the S#3 quakewars.pl server. If you have another server to share, you may click on "server info", where among others the IP is listed. :ok:

Yup you need the latest ET patch (2.60 I think) and the latest ET pro (not sure 3. someting version), the downloads are not big and you can download them from server if you turn the downloads on...

That's what I hated about ET. You need to run countlesss setups and tests.
