Are you using DosBox, by the way?

Well, most dos games don´t work in windows...

The first thing to try would be DosBox.
You can find a download link on this site under the utilities -> programs section.

There´s a tutorial on DosBox available here (http://www.abandonia.com/main.php?nav=index&FAQ=1), if you need it. :)
