To celebrate the start of the brand new series of H2G2 on BBC Radio 4, the BBC have made an all new version of possibly the greatest (certainly the strangest) text adventure ever made!

It has a Guide-style interface, new illustrations for the areas and objects, and (allegedly) some new content written by Douglas before he died, although apparently nobody's found it yet.

EDIT: It's actually the 20th Anniversary Edition, not 21st Century.

Sweet! Thanks for the heads up. :)

You have to play it online though? That's a bit disappointing.

Funny

It's on the list of games I'm uploading-reviewing-kissing-photographing for Interactive Fiction section.

To tell the truth it's on the list of games I've already reviewed-kissed-photographed and uploaded.

Well the original one will be available in Abandonia within 2 days.

Hope this one boosts you to try it! :sneaky:

The new version isn't completely finished yet- All the actual game is in there, but there are still a few pictures missing, which they're running a competition to fill.

Once all the graphics are complete, you might be able to download it.
