I've been looking at topics of MMORPGs and stuff, but all of them that I have ever clicked on make you download a super-large file. Because of my dial-up connection I can't do that...
Does anyone know of a MMORPG besides runescape and adventure quest, i already know them that can be played online?
and btw, adv. quest isn't REALLY a mmorpg, more of an online rpg..
Cheers!
If you use the search option (http://www.abandonia.com/forum/index.php?act=Search&CODE=show&searchid=e4e4a9380c8d2d72c402bb9798e4b42c&search_in=posts&result_type=topics&highlite=mmorpg) of our forum, you'll find several quite similar topics...
Oh, and there's no such thing as an offline MMORPG because per definition it's online...

I mean a MMORPG that you don't need to download, just load from the website like Runescape. :)

Dud you see Urban Dead? So what if it has no graphics its still cool.
The best two online games I have ever played are World of Warcraft and Wolfenstein Enemy Territory, but you have to download large files to play those games, and WoW isn't free. Quality is hard to come by without large downloads.

Just for the very random record: Adventure Quest is not a MMORPG.

this site is your freind also
my definition of a good online mmorpg
Has a graphical interface
Has to be downloaded
Plays like Runescape ( the way you walk arround and do stuff easily )
Player killing on sperate servers
No premiums, enhanced accounts or pay for things so we are all equal
Proper antihack programs
Hackers will be hardware banned
Has a creative appealing theme
Has a tutorial
Has wide range of classes skills quests
Character creation (when i make my player i want him to stand out from the masses)
Limited players on a server (it just gets WAY to crowded in these games)

Just for clarification:
MMORPG = Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. ;)
To the OP: P2P or Free? I've been included in many P2P MMOs (Asheron's Call, Star Wars Galaxies, World of Warcraft, City of Villains) so I'd suggest those. If you're one of the many denizens who only want free MMOs, then I can't really help you.
I don't have a problem paying for my entertainment, you know. :)

If you're looking for a free MMOG, Urbaniacs is a pretty fun one. It's in a similar vein as Neopets. You can customise your own superhero/supervillian, battle other players online and play some pretty funny games such as Wedgie Toss (http://www.urbaniacs.com/city/arena/wedgietoss.php). Anyways, if it sounds interesting just click on the link below and give me a shout =)

I've found a free MMORPG browser game for you :w00t:
PhantasyRPG (http://phantasyrpg.com/main.php?view=134820) is very expansive, has plenty to see and do, and has a welcoming charm to it. The navigation is straight forward, the graphics are crisp and the animated battle effects add a bit of excitement. All in all, a great game for RPG gamers. Check it out!

Why not try Battle of Wesnoth? You find that in reloaded.org as well ;) I just downloaded it... and you can play it alone... or you can go online and play. And yes... got Wolfenstein ET too... damn that is addictive... ;)
Tried PhantasyRPG and I like it because I can play in my breaks ;)

Pirates of the Caribbean is gonna be released in 2007. Maybe you can look out for that. Not sure if it's free though. No news so far, except screenshots and stuff on their Disney site.

I found some videos on IGN that you can just watch for the trailer and behind the scenes of the game. Be patient. It takes some time to stream. The behind the scenes video is worth waiting for. The sizzler is kinda short.

May I recommend Final Fantasy 11? The game is a subscription-based game and comes with 30 day Free Trial. It is an outdated game but the game is being consistently updated.
