Civilization 4

Hey folks,

I just wonder if any of you already play Civ 4?

That game really rocks and is the first CIV that is better than the first one IMHO.

Do you have some nice tipps and tricks for the internet gaming for me? Normally I still lurk around with some 500 points when my opponents alreadyhave 800 or 1000 ... what is my mistake?

Technologically I directly go to "schießpulver" (for musketeers) and in my first cities I normally build these things: 1. Warrior, 2. This improvement people, 3. This Food storage thing, 4. settlers, 5. some more military units ...

Civ4 is so addictive that when I start I just can't continue because I think of all the time I'll waste...
Then I go and waste my time on something else...

I've played it a bit, and enjoyed it. But I've yet to encounter a game that's one-tenth as addictive as life.

I want Civ4!!!!
I only havve Civ3, but theese stratagies might work...
Normally how I play:
1.Scout aroudn continent until you find lush oart with heave food resources
2.Built Capital
3.Build ONE warrrior
4.Build More settelers
5.Find small spot with good financial rescources (gold and mountains/hills)
6.Build City
7.Build ONE warrior
8.Find a good spot by the sea, build city, one warrior

Basically I don't have a huge empire like the comp players, I only have a couple of specialized citys that are highly definded and connected toether (a road network) I have nire than 3...but normally not more than 10 And as for reasearch I basically just do what ever the comp suggests...
