My shortest dream ever was:

I get out of bed, open the door, walkthrough and presto - I'm awake.

My dreams are impossible to put in words. They're just too wacky and random

Never impossible!
For example, a few nights back...

I had a dream where a cat was tickling me, for some reason I thought my life was in peril, so I was desperate to escape. No sooner had I thrown the cat off of me, that it swelled to about the size of a five story building, and started destroying the surrounding city and all the people.
All of a sudden, a woman with Sean Connery's voice yelled out "Ya haf tah poke 'im in the pancreas!" A suicide bomber ran up then screamed "Jelly turkey" as he exploded near the cat, the cat got a severly angry look on it's face, then seemed to turn into a worm. Whereupon he was stepped on by the Sean Connery lady. Then, for no apparent reason, she stabbed me with a screw-driver, and I woke up.

Too out there to describe most of the time. Very few times are they actually coherent, usually get just absolutely weird, almost etheral experiences, 'cept nightmares which also defy description.

I used to have nightmares where my sister's dolls would attack me. :D

Mine are mostly just feelings, you know that utter panic that accompanies nightmares (and some bad trips, whoo...) while no imminent threat can be perceived.

I have many dreams.
Many random ones, but a few recurring ones too. For example, from time to time I dream of this European city. So vividly, I think I almost might be able to draw a map of it.

I have the same experience of a certain road-side inn on the road near my old neighborhood in South Africa.
The thing is, that inn doesn't exist, yet I always seem to think so in my dreams.

My usual dreams are waaayyy to kinky to share them on a board visited by minors... I put transcriptions of some up on some more adult-oriented sites, though...

Among my favourite dreams are where I visit landscapes that are earthlike but have much more energy and beauty. The beach is usually surrounded by high sand dunes and the water is energetic and richly hued. But the way these places make me feel is the best part. They all have a wonderful atmosphere of excitment and adventure, yet peace and beauty. I dreamt once of finding a crystal clear river that flowed through a field of green grass. However the river blended in with the grass and had no banks either side...the grass grew beneath the water.

A few nights ago I dreamt of looking out a window and seeing an almost vertical hill close by. It was so steep that it was almost like looking at a flat painting where I could see every detail. The hill appeared to be covered in a patchwork quilt of colourful fields, and where the steepness levelled off to one side there were a few people ambling over the crescent. I decided to climb the hill, but when I climbed out the window, it suddenly darkened and I noticed that there was a wide stone ledge over my head. I had to follow the path beneath the ledge until I reached the hill and its colourful fields. I think the fields were wild flowers with the same colours growing side-by-side.

Where I had this pet bug...really creepy. It was like some sort of roach, and it would crawl on me, and I could tell it was tasteing me, and its prickly little feet were like needles, I was almost paralyzed with fear that it was going to bite me.

I've had at most 5 nightmares all my life. I can only remember one vividly, and one vaguely.
As for normal dreams, usually the only dreams I remember when I wake up involve whatever girl I have a soft spot for at the time.

My dreams....almost always nighmares when I get scared, start to cry... ( :D )
There was one when I was on a bike and a UFO made out of paper came to me. They beamed down some aliens made out of.....paper and I ran to my house. Suddenly their UFO exploded and I was safe once again.

I know dreams are really random, but the kind of randomness abi and pigggy are showing seems more like making stuff up on the spot rather than the inner workings of their subconscious.

I always have a hard time remembering my dreams but at this moment I can remember 5 or 6 of my dreams that I have had.

3 of them have serial killers in them:

One was about 8 years ago the girl i liked then was killing everyone and everything was some sort of shade of green, absolutly everything?

One was just some serial killer on the loose and killed everyone in my family then I was running up and down my street, don't know what I was doing?

The other my house and yard was turned into a theme park or circus and there was a scarecrow (ironically) on the loose and killing everyone, he was after me but everyone kept getting in his way and killed them.

One I had 11 years ago my brothers were kidnapped and I had to save them.

One we had a crocodile as a pet and kept it on an abandoned pirate ship in our back yard.

And my latest one was in some school everything was grey and I found some secret and all this weird stuff happened. It was a brilliant dream I'll never forget but too much happened to bother writing down.

I just remembered another 2.

One about arm markings foretelling how successful you would be in the future they only lasted till you were 10.

Then something about all water being jelly and instead of high tide and low tide everything that wasn't jelly would turn into jelly and the jelly would turn into everything else. And people had to live in the jelly during high tide. This of course doesn't make sense.

Well, it only happened once and since I was little I always dreamed strange things.

(I forgot to mention: the city I was in was also made out of paper and I wasn't on a real bike...can't find the word for it....it was those things little children have with pedals and 4 weels....unfortunately I broke it 2 weeks after getting it)

I believe dreams are based off of what you did recently (like right before bed)
Ok, my weirdest dream.....I'm in the garage of the office map for Counterstrike, all my team mates are dead, suddenly zombies apear and try to get me, the zombie spit blood at you which goes through walls and objects and if it hits you you die. I run around trying to kill as many as possible, suddenly I can fly around like superman and I fly around killing them all with headshots, dream ends. I also had a dream where I got up and went to the bathroom, and I heard like a chainsaw like noise, and I just dropped to the ground and screamed.....random yet really scarry and realistic...

wow. Finally a thread I can participate with the real ME, long time since one line this showed up :D

I used to have wery weird dreams. Nightmares if you like. I had lots of dreams about falling from different places. The horror as you fall to the ground you could feel the adrenalin pumping in your veins. the whole thing is so REAL, I'm like weightless and I can almost feel the wind. And thoughts are whirling in my head like "what will happen" "how much will it hurt" "Will I die" and so on, all this happening just in the millsecond before I reach the ground. But I can't explain what it feels like really. And at the time of the impact you can feel what I can only describe as "its all over". I always wake up, in cold sweat brathing like hell.

The other kind of dreams I use to have is (call me carzy but) predicting things. You know "de ja vou". Like Doubler, I use to dream about a city that is so real I can almost draw a map. I always see this city in sunset or twilight, ands it is always empty. No cars, no people no nothing. Strange. And I used to have predictions in my dreams. When I wake up and I remember what I dreamt, I quickly turn on my computer, open up a notepad(hangin onto my dream all along) and write it down exactly as I saw it. You won't belive it but eventually these thing come true. Like....um...how can I put this....like a "screenshot". Not a whole happening or a whole screnery or like that, just a screenshot, a moment of life. And after a month or so I catch myself in the shock of "I seen this before". And I open up the notepad on my comp and I find it there almost every time.

Any experience like this?

i dream scary dreams, nightmare's.. but one dream is coming almost every week when i'm sleeping.. and it scares me like hell. "I've take a knive from the kitchen go upstairs to my neighbours and wipe them out.. while they are sleeping"... i dunno why i dream this sort of dreams.. i'm a peace loving man..
but i believe that this dream just represents my dark side, wich everyone has..

Everyone seems to have a dream at lest once where they do the slow motion running thing, but travel faster than they could normally run. I want to have one of those, but I've only had one where I'd run in slow motion and would run slower than normal, very irritating that was. Can't remember what else was happening in the dream I just remember the running.

Everyone gets De Ja Vou Playbahnosh.

If you want that feeling, jump on a treadmill, and go for 40 minutes straight at a good pace. Then jump off and walk backwards, if feels like an acid trip. P.S, the feeling is multiplied if you take some lsd beforehand.

Last night, i saw this weird dream:

I could fly with my pillow, i was flying above the city. Then i landed and entered in a house. Inside the house there was couple of wrestlers: Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker and JBL. HH and Undertaker were sitting on a table. I sat with them and gave a stetson to The Undertaker. Then JBL came from the back and started to fight against HH. I left the house. It was full day light. I saw couple of beatiful girls walking towards me. One of the girls pushed me to the ground and she sat on me. I touched her breasts.....

*puff* Thats all folks.

Hey dude, you TRY dreaming.
Then tell me I was making it up.
Dreams are weird and random, and there's no clarification on the matter, so you can just accept that those were actual dreams.

My latest dream was me and my friend were going to hire out a movie, and then his dad heard this went crazy and started killing everyone. Then all these weird alien/animal type creatures turned up at the house, so my friends dad could kill them. And then we ended up on his roof and and we took a lift, yes it was an actualy lift from his roof to his front door, down to the ground and ran away. Of course everything was a light/dull shade of grey again.

I got to stop dreaming about people going crazy and killing everyone. I think it was the room I was sleeping in, we visited my grandparents and she has a very big doll collection and I had to sleep in a room with these 200 or so dolls, that would make anyone go crazy. Of course the biggest doll up on the highest shelf overlooking the bed was a clown. Two nights I spent in that room, two nights. Comfortable bed though.

I doubt anybody would want to enter my dreams..

OMG THE TITTIES !!

[Serious Tone]

The only dreams that I remember come true at some point. For example I had a dream about a funny looking red outline on a blue and black grid. It reminded me of the UnrealEd that I use but I knew that the shape that was made from the outline was not normal. However I made that EXACT brush earlier using the '2D Shape Editor' tool.

I'm an insomniac, but when I do actually sleep I usually dream. My dreams are actually strangely precognitive. I had one about 3 weeks ago and later that week the exact thing that happened in my dream happened in real life.

It wasn't anything big, it was just somebody saying something (I forget what) and then walking off that happened in my dream, followed up by that happening in school...

Just last week I was talking to someone with the tv playing in the background. And I replied to something they said, and what I said was said on the tv at exactly the same time. Amazing. This has only happened to me a whole two times ever in my life.

Anyone ever sleep walk?

I have done it once (that I know of), and I actually remember doing it.

I was sleeping over a friends house, and he was playing the computer before we went to bed and I was just watching. He was sleeping on the bed right beside the computer and I was sleeping on the bed on the opposite side of the room. Anyway when we went to bed I dreamed that I was still watching him playing the computer. But I had fallen asleep doing so and I dreamt that I woke up at the computer desk, and that he had turned it off and gone to bed. So I actually physically got up from the bed I was sleeping in, which was across the room from the computer, thinking (dreaming) that I was walking from the computer to the bed on the opposite side of the room, where I was going to be sleeping. When I got to this bed I found my friend sleeping in it and I poked him to tell him to get out of my bed, he didn't wake but he made a grunting sound and as soon as he made this sound I completely woke up and found myself standing at the bed beside the computer when I thought (dreamt) I was standing at the bed on the other side of the room.

Thing is I remember getting up from the bed I was sleeping in and walking across the room, and I think I knew at the time that I was actually walking from the bed to the other side of the room, but it looked as if I was walking from the computer on the opposite side of the room to the bed I was supposed to be sleeping in. I told my friend next morning and he remembered being poked and that I said something, but he didn't actually know what I said.
