Hey I say we start a group that creates games in gamemaker (gamemaker.nl)
it will be extreamly easy and the only requirment is have gamemaker (free version of game maker 5 not 6 is fine registered version of 5 also is fine but no 6!!!) and have a instant messanger of any kind.

Man I want to bad, I've used game maker quite a bit before! but they've taken some features out of the old ones for only registered ppl, and besides game maker doesn't work on my computer anymore *sigh* but wait!

The only way it doesn't work is if I try to "play" a game. I'm sure I could give the game to some1 every time I needed to test something....I don't know I'll do somethin.

Anyway, I'd like to learn Gamemaker, but I am a total newbie, so
you'd have to show me around first, which could take some time.

EDIT: I'd need a Mac OS X version, too. Do you have any idea where
to get that?

Nope I can't find a version for it. And seriously wolf thug. This in many places would be considered necroing and spamming.

i tried gamemaker a while back. the games i made in it were unstable but as you guys are setting up a group i may get back into it, just have to find version 5 i suppose. i need to find the topic i started on it ages ago as i had put on a load of resource links that i lost. i wont ressurect that old thread, just put the links on this one.

I don't use v5 anymore, only v6.1. In v5, there's no auto-center option for the sprites.
