This is fun.
Join me into the world of children television.
First out is CURIOUS GEORGE (http://www.abandonia.com/~tomhenrik/Music/curiousgeorge.wav)
Curious George,
the curious little monkey.
Oh what fun to run and jump and play.
Curious George,
the curious little monkey.
Let's go see what he's doing today.

Watch out cause here we come
It's been a while but we're back with style
So get set to have some fun
We'll bring you action and satisfaction
We're the chipmunks
C-H-I-P-M-U-N-K
We're the chipmunks
Guaranteed to brighten your day
When you feel like a laugh
Give us a call we'll give you a roll
And if you feel like a song
Tune in to us and sing right along
We're the chipmunks
Coming on stronger than ever before
We're the chipmunks

But of course...
Where would we be without DANGER MOUSE (http://www.abandonia.com/~tomhenrik/Music/DangerMouse.mp3)
He's the greatest.
He's fantastic!
Where-ever there is danger he'll be there.
He's the ace.
He's amazing!
He's the strongest, he's the quickest, he's the best!
Danger Mouse.
He's terrific.
He's magnificent!
He's the greatest secret agent in the world!
Danger Mouse.
Power House!
He's the fastest, he's the greatest, he's the best!
Danger Mouse!
Danger Mouse!
DANGER MOUSE!

Everybody has heard of DARKWING DUCK (http://www.abandonia.com/~tomhenrik/Music/darkwingduck.wav), but do you know the lyrics?
Daring duck of mystery, Champion of right.
Swoops out of the shadows, Darkwing owns the night.
Somewhere some villain schemes, but his number's up! (3-2-1)
Darkwing Duck! (When there's trouble you call D.W.)
Darkwing Duck! (let's get dangerous)
Darkwing Duck! (Darkwing, Darkwing Duck!)
Cloud of smoke and he appears, Master of surprise.
Who's that cunning mind behind that shadowy desguise?
Nobody knows for sure, but bad guys are out of luck.
'Cause here comes Darkwing Duck! Look out! (When there's trouble you call D.W.)
Darkwing Duck! (Let's get dangerous)
Darkwing Duck! (Better watch out you bad boys!)
Darkwing Duck!

Here's a nice little song. It's the theme for DAVID THE GNOME (http://www.abandonia.com/~tomhenrik/Music/davidthegnome.ram)
Look around you.
There are many thing to see,
That some would say
Could never be.
These things I know.
It's true and I will tell you so.
They are there to see,
If you believe.
Trolls and wizards and fairy kings,
Birds that talk and fish that sing,
And if your heart is true,
Then you will find them, too.
In every wish and dream and happy home,
You will find the kingdom of the gnomes.

An old old show, but I think you'll remember it.
HEATHCLIFF (http://www.abandonia.com/~tomhenrik/Music/heathcliff.wav)
Heathcliff, Heathcliff no one should terrify their neighborhood.
But Heathcliff just won't be undone playing pranks on everyone.
There's a race to be on top the competition doesn't stop.
Mixing it with the ladies man being charming debonair.
The gang will rein supreme and no one can deny.
They'll make some history and always have an alibi.
So join in the jubilee the cats are great, they'll all agree.
You'll find in each calamity the cat's superiority.
Huh, ah oh, oh ah oh, ah uh. Huh oh ah, ah oh, oh ah oh uh uh.
Heathcliff, Heathcliff no one should terrify the neighborhood.
But Heathcliff just won't be undone you should realize he can win it with you!

This is more of a girl show, but what the hey. Can you bear the horror of MAYA THE BEE (http://www.abandonia.com/~tomhenrik/Music/mayathebee.ram)
(Pay attention to the little laughter at the end) :P
Who's the friendly little bee,
playing oh so happily?
Buzzing here and buzzing there,
busy buzzing everywhere.
Maya loves, and Maya cares.
Maya gives, and Maya shares.
Maya likes to play around,
but she'll never let you down.
MAYA!
Maya the bee.
MAYA!
Maya the bee.
See her flying through the air.
Buzzing here and buzzing there.
Stay and catch me if you dare.
Busy buzzing everywhere.
MAYA!
Maya the bee.
MAYA!
Maya the bee.

U šumarku skrivenom,
Medvjedića malih dom.
Oni čak i lete, pogledajte!
Neki ljudi opasni,
Opasni k'o zmaj
Srušili bi taj
Mali šumski raj!
No, neće, neće opet moć
Jer mali medvjedi će doć
Do jedan borit će se svi
I šumu spasiti!
Ako voliš ???,??? i ***,
Primit će te odmah u svoj mali svijet!

OK, time for Spiderman (http://www.stormpages.com/television/entertainment/tvmusic/spiderman2.rm) (60s version)
Spiderman, Spiderman
does whatever a spider can
spins a web, any size
catches thieves just like flies
look out here comes the Spiderman
Is he strong? Listen bud
he's got radioactive blood
Can he swing from a thread
take a look overhead
hey there there goes the Spiderman
In the chill of the night
At the scene of the crime
Like a streak of light
He arrives just in time
Spiderman Spiderman
Friendly neighborhood Spiderman
wealth and fame, he's ignored
action is his reward
look out here comes the Spiderman
To him, life is a great big bang-up
Wherever there's hang-up
You'll find the Spiderman

This one goes out to all my fans down under!
Here is TAZ-MANIA (http://www.abandonia.com/~tomhenrik/Music/tazmania.wav)
Welcome to the land that's way under, down under,
the sky's always yellow in the rain or shine...
Down in Taz-Mania,
Come to Taz-Mania.
Where topsy meets turvy and they start to spin,
Like a Tazmanian devil and his closest kin.
Down in Taz-Mania,
Come to Taz-Mania.
Mom's a live wire, dad's a bump on a log,
Molly's all fired up while Jake plays with the dog.
Down in Taz-Mania,
Come to Taz-Mania.
Digeri Dingo and Wendel T. Wolf,
Francis X. Bushlad is never uncouth.
Bushwacker Bob and his mother called Mum,
Constance and Thickley just want to have fun.
Bull Gator and Axl are always left sore,
If you have a deal just call Buddy Boar,
The Platypus brothers are a-backin' about,
The kiwi, the bushrats, have we left anyone out?
Oh yea, don't forget Taz...
He put the Taz in Taz-Mania,
Down in tazmania,
Come to Tazmania,
We mean you!

TRANSFORMERS (http://www.abandonia.com/~tomhenrik/Music/transformers.wav) was another big show when I was young.
The Transformers...
More than meets the eye...
Autobots wage their battle to destroy the evil forces of...
The Decepticons.
The Transformers...
Robots in disguise.
The Transformers...
More than meets the eye.
The Transformers.

(Oh, and in case you wondered.... M.A.S.K stands for Mobile Armoured Strike Kommand).
Masked crusaders, working overtime, fighting crime. (FIGHTING CRIME!)
Secret raiders who will NEUTRALIZE SOON AS THEY ARRIVE. (AT THE SIGHT!)
Trackker's gonna lead the mission...
And Spectrum's got such SUPER VISION!
M-M-M-MASK is the mighty power that can save the day!
M-M-M-MASK no one knows what lies behind their masquerades!
M-M-M-MASK always riding hot on Venom's trail...

The GUMMYBEARS (http://www.abandonia.com/~tomhenrik/Music/gummybears.wav) have moved in from the bump topic.
Dashing and daring,
courageous and caring.
Faithful and friendly with stories to share.
All through the forest,
they sing out in chorus.
Marching along as their song fills the air!
GUMMYBEARS!
Bouncing here and there and everywhere!
High adventure that's beyond compare.
They are the Gummybears
Magic and mystery
are part of their history,
along with the secrets of gummybeary-juice.
Their legend is growing,
they take right in knowing
to fight for what's right in what ever they do!
GUMMYBEARS!
Bouncing here and there and everywhere!
High adventure that's beyond compare.
They are the Gummybears
They are the GUMMYBEARS!

I thought I was going to bed after Johnny Bravo, but I just need to complete the list with THE SMURFS (http://poetry.darktech.org/misc/mp3/theme_-_the_smurfs.mp3)
[Sung by Smurfs in unison]
La la la-la la la,
Sing a happy song.
La la la-la la la,
Smurf your whole day long.
[Whistled La la la-la la la]
[Papa Smurf speaks]
Smurf along with me!
[Whistled La la la-la la la]
[Papa Smurf speaks]
Simple as can be.
[Sung by Smurfs in unison]
Next time you're feeling blue just let a smile begin,
Happy things will come to you...
[Smurfette speaks]
So smurf yourself a grin!
[Ominous Gargamel music]
[Gargamel speaks]
Oooooo I hate Smurfs!
[Azrael meows]
[Gargamel speaks]
I'll get you, I'll get all of you if it's the last thing I ever do! hehehehe!
[Sung by Smurfs in unison]
La la la-la la la,
Now you know the tune,
[Harmony Smurf plays the "la la la-la la la" tune (barely) on his off-key trumpet]
[Sung by Smurfs in unison, accentuated for finale]
You'll be Smurfing soon!

Here's another show I liked when I was young, FIREMAN SAM (http://www.abandonia.com/~tomhenrik/Music/FiremanSam.mp3)
When he hears that fire-bell chime,
Fireman Sam is there on time.
Putting on his coat and hat,
In less than seven seconds flat.
He's always on the scene.
Fireman Sam!
And his engine's bright and clean.
Fireman Sam!
You can not ignore,
Sam is the hero next door.
Driving down the busy streets,
Greeting people that he meets.
Someone could be in a jam,
So, hurry hurry Fireman Sam.
He's always on the scene.
Fireman Sam!
And his engine's bright and clean.
Fireman Sam!
You can not ignore,
Sam is the hero next door.

Another cherished childhood memory, Postman Pat (http://www.abandonia.com/~rhavell/postmanpat.mp3):
Postman Pat, Postman Pat, Postman Pat and his black and white cat,
Early in the morning,
Just as day is dawning,
He picks up all the post bags in his van.
Postman Pat, Postman Pat, Postman Pat and his black and white cat,
All the birds are singing,
And the day is just beginning,
Pat feels he's a really happy man.
Everybody knows, his bright red van,
All his friends will smile as he waves to greet them,
Maybe,
You can never be sure,
They'll be knock,
Ring,
Letters through your door,
Hay hay,
Postman Pat, Postman Pat, Postman Pat and his black and white cat,
All the birds are singing,
And the day is just beginning,
Pat feels he's a really happy man,
Pat feels he's a really happy man,
Pat feels he's a really happy man.

YES!!!! This is the best topic EVER! If you can, try to find Wild West Cowboys of MOO MESA!
Tom Henrik

Unfortunately I can't locate the actual song for the Wild West C.O.W. Boys of Moo Mesa, but I have the lyrics and a picture. Maybe someone else have the actual song.
Comet raised a mesa to the western skies.
With the sound of a thousand cattle drives.
A chosen few would see the light
and fight the wrong with right.
Up on the mesa
High above the clouds
There's a world apart from all the rest.
On Moo Mesa
live the real cowboys
standing up for law and order
and livin' by The Code of the West.
Cleanin' up the territory
Keepin' evil on its toes
Takes a different breed of riding, roping, brave heroes.
On Moo Mesa
live the real cowboys
standin' up for law and order
And livin' by The Code of the West.
On Moo Mesa!

And in case you wondered what the actual Codes of the West (mentioned in the song) are, here is a complete list for you :sneaky:
CODES OF THE WEST

2. Always keep your barn clean so it won't look like a pig sty
3. Never lock up an innocent bull
4. Always wash behind your horns

6. A real C.O.W.- Boy never cusses
7. Always leave a little grazing room for unexpected guests

12. Always finish your grub before you leave the table
13. Always tip your horns to a lady
14. It's rude to drool on the salt lick
15. Stand tall, be brave and never take any bull from a bully
16. Never horn in on another bull's territory
17. Never wear red pants around a bull with sharp horns
18. Never act like a bully
19. Always wear clean underwear to a showdown
20. Never wear your spurs to bed
21. Always bring a bale to get out of jail
22. Never play tag with a rattlesnake
23. Never mistake a snake for a lasso

My last addition before I leave for Spain. This is my favourite TV show EVER! It only ran for 23 episodes, but each of these episodes were pure gold. My avatar is also inspired by the show. For those of you that have never heard of EARTHWORM JIM (http://soundamerica.com/sounds/themes/Cartoons/E/ewormjim.wav) I would suggest listening to the theme song and then find an episode ;)
Take care people :sneaky:
Earthworm Jim,
under the soil he did crawl.
Earthworm Jim,
a super suit did fall.
Jim was just a dirt eating,
chewing length of worm-flesh
But all that came to a crashing end!
(Ah-ha-ha-ha)
Earthworm Jim,
he's such a groovy guy
Earthworm Jim,
he rockets through the sky
Cruising through the universe
having lots of fun,
here comes Earthworm Jim
you know that he's the mighty one
--- Look out ---
la la la la la, la la la la la, la la la....
Despite his great big muscles
and his really big ray gun,
Jim is still an Earthworm
but then he's the only one,
with a super suit to make him really super strong,
Jim can be a winner if we only sing along...
(alright)
Earthworm Jim,
we think he's mighty fine
Earthworm Jim,
a hero for all time
Earthworm,
Earthworm,
Earthworm,
Earthworm Jim
Hooray for himmmmmmm
GROOVY! :ok:

He-man... And the Master of the Universe!
I am Adam, Prince of Eternia, Defender of the Secrets of Castle Greyskull.
This is Kringer, my fearless friend.
Fabulous, secret powers were revealed to me the day I held aloft my magic sword and said: "By the Power of Greyskull!"
He-man, He-man...
I have the power!
Kringer became the mighty BattleCat and I became He-man, the most powerful man in the Universe!
Only three others share this secret...
Our friends the Sorceress, Man-at-Arms, and Orko.
Together we defend Castle Greyskull...

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Heroes in a half-shell
Turtle power!
They're the world's most fearsome fighting team (We're really hip!)
They're heroes in a half-shell and they're green (Hey - get a grip!)
When the evil Shredder attacks
These Turtle boys don't cut him no slack!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Splinter taught them to be ninja teens (He's a radical rat!)
Leonardo leads, Donatello does machines (That's a fact, Jack!)
Raphael is cool but crude (Gimme a break!)
Michaelangelo is a party dude (Party!)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Heroes in a half shell

You asked for it. Please welcome SuperTed (http://www.abandonia.com/~tomhenrik/Music/superted.mp3)!
This is a story about an ordinary teddy bear.
When he was made, they found something wrong with him.
And threw him away like a piece of rubbish into an old dark storeroom
Then, from outer space, a spotty man, brought him to life with his cosmic dust.
He took him to a magic cloud where Mother Nature gave him special powers
That bear became SUPERTED!
But of course...
Any show with respect for it self will also have an end theme (http://www.abandonia.com/~tomhenrik/Music/superted_end.mp3)!
(Unfortunately... I can't hear the lyrics good enough to type it for you, but they do sing SuperTed a lot  )

English language!
Yakko: Aardvark, abating, abet, abdicating
Abandon, abase and abreast

all the words in the English language. I'm Dot Warner. With
me is Dick Button. Dick, a good start?
Dick : Oh, yes, Dot -- a marvelous start to what is a difficult,
difficult routine.
Dot : Stay tuned, and we'll be back to bring you the whole thing.
Now it is time for all of you to learn a bit more about America (http://www.abandonia.com/~tomhenrik/Music/America.mp3). Listen carefully at Wakko sing all the states and capitols of the big country across the lake.
Wakko:
Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Indianapolis, Indiana
And Columbus is the capital of Ohio
There's Montgomery, Alabama, south of Helena, Montana
Then there's Denver, Colorado, under Boise, Idaho.
Texas has Austin, then we go north
To Massachusetts' Boston, and Albany, New York
Tallahassee, Florida, and Washington, D.C.
Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Nashville, Tennessee.
Elvis used to hang out there a lot, ya know.
Trenton's in New Jersey, north of Jefferson, Missouri
You've got Richmond in Virginia; South Dakota has Pierre
Harrisburg's in Pennsylvania and Augusta's up in Maine
And here is Providence, Rhode Island, next to Dover, Delaware.
Concord, New Hampshire, just a quick jaunt
To Montpelier, which is up in Vermont
Hartford's in Connecticut, so pretty in the fall
And Kansas has Topeka; Minnesota has St Paul.
Juneau's in Alaska and there's Lincoln in Nebraska
And it's Raleigh out in North Carolina and then
There's Madison, Wisconsin, and Olympia in Washington
Phoenix, Arizona, and Lansing, Michigan.
Here's Honolulu; Hawaii's a joy
Jackson, Mississippi, and Springfield, Illinois
South Carolina with Columbia down the way
And Annapolis in Maryland on Chesapeake Bay.
They have wonderful clam chowder.
Cheyenne is in Wyomin' and perhaps you make your home in
Salt Lake City out in Utah, where the Buffalo roam
Atlanta's down in Georgia, and there's Bismarck, North Dakota
And you can live in Frankfort in your old Kentucky home.
Salem in Oregon; from there we join
Little Rock in Arkansas; Iowa's got Des Moines
Sacramento, California; Oklahoma and its city
Charleston, West Virginia, and Nevada, Carson City.
That's all the capitols there are!
But not only the boys can sing... Dot became famous for her little act called Macadamia Nut (http://www.abandonia.com/~tomhenrik/Music/Nut.mp3) :sneaky:
(Dot laughs)
Y+W : Helloooo, nurse!
Yakko : Uhhh...
Dot : (spoken) I am NOT trying to be annoying.

Dot : I act like a nut, so they call me Macadamia
I dance like a klutz on a show called Animania
Dot overdub: Am I a cutie?
Absolutey!
And a beauty, you can bet your patootie!
D+N+Minerva: But if you touch me, or even get near me
I'll have you arrested, do you hear me?
Y+W : Dot is a nut, so they call her Macadamia
She's cracked in the head, and kooky in the brainia
Each line in this song sounds pretty much the sameia
Oy, Macadamia!
Ralph : Daaah...
Y+W : Donde que vas a Nintendo Macadamia
Hola que pasa you grande sack o' grania

Dot overdub : He's always burping
Every hour
Dot : So I threw him out of the tower.
Wakko : Whoooaaaaaa!
(Dot laughs)
Dot : (spoken) Now come on, what did you want me to do?
He was grossing me out!
And I'm just a cute little thing.
So don't cross me!
Y+W : She's cracked like a nut, so they call her Macadamia
Whenever she gets mad, you'll experience painia
Cuts and bruises you will sustainia
Oy, Macadamia!
Pinky : Narf!
Y+W : Lava tus manos, por favor, Macadamia
The world is the goal for Pinky and the Brainia
Dot : Otra vez on y vas the repetitive refrainia
Y+W : Oy, Macadamia!
Brain : Ye-e-ess!!!
Dot : (spoken) Don't hate me because I'm cute.

Squit : Ow!
Yakko : Mac, Mac Mac, Mac, Mac, Macadamia

D+Sk+P+HN+M: Uhhh...
Yakko : Uhhh...
Dot : I'm a nut who's known as Macadamia
But you can call me by my other nameia
Dot overdub : Louisa
Francesca
Banana-Fanna
Bo Besca.
Dot : Or just plain Dot, the name I flirt to
But if you call me Dottie, I'll have to hurt you.
YW+D : Mac, Mac Mac, Mac, Mac, Macadamia
Mac, Mac Mac, Mac, Mac, Macadamia
Mac, Mac Mac, Mac, Mac, Macadamia
Oy, Macadamia!
Mac, Mac Mac, Mac, Mac, Macadamia
Mac, Mac Mac, Mac, Mac, Macadamia
Mac, Mac Mac, Mac, Mac, Macadamia
Oy, Macadamia
Nuts!
Here we have a cute little song about our place in the Universe (http://www.abandonia.com/~tomhenrik/Music/Universe.mp3).
Yakko: Everybody lives on a street in a city
Or a village or a town for what it's worth.
And they're all inside a country which is part of a continent
That sits upon a planet known as Earth.
And the Earth is a ball full of oceans and some mountains
Which is out there spinning silently in space.
And living on that Earth are the plants and the animals
And also the entire human race.
It's a great big universe
And we're all really puny
We're just tiny little specks
About the size of Mickey Rooney.
It's big and black and inky
And we are small and dinky
It's a big universe and we're not.
And we're part of a vast interplanetary system
Stretching seven hundred billion miles long.
With nine planets and a sun; we think the Earth's the only one
That has life on it, although we could be wrong.
Across the interstellar voids are a billion asteroids
Including meteors and Halley's Comet too.
And there's over fifty moons floating out there like balloons
In a panoramic trillion-mile view.
And still it's all a speck amid a hundred billion stars
In a galaxy we call the Milky Way.
It's sixty thousand trillion miles from one end to the other
And still that's just a fraction of the way.
'Cause there's a hundred billion galaxies that stretch across the sky
Filled with constellations, planets, moons and stars.
And still the universe extends to a place that never ends
Which is maybe just inside a little jar!
YW+D : It's a great big universe
And we're all really puny
We're just tiny little specks
About the size of Mickey Rooney.
* Though we don't know how it got here
* We're an important part here
* It's a big universe and it's ours!
* - In the original script, these lines were:
YW+D : You might think that you're essential
Try inconsequential
It's a small world after all!
And last let us join them in their love for candy.... mmmmmmmm  that Zinc Trisodium Aspartate is just too darn addictive. Remember... Be careful what you eat (http://www.abandonia.com/~tomhenrik/Music/Addictive.mp3)!
Yakko: Ingredients Zinc Trisodium Aspartate,
Sorbatale, and Bisulfate
Oxide, Beta Caratine
Lactic Acid, Carab Bean
(music begins)
Yakko: Grade A milk emulsified
Malto-dextrin alkalide
Silicon deoxylite
Lots of sugar,
W+D : Hey, all right!
Yakko: Calcified synthetic salt
Artificial barley malt
Glycerine and aspartate
Folic acid,
Wakko: That tastes great!
YW+D : Monosodium glutamate
Dehydrated calceinate
Soybean oil, butter fat
Caramel center,
Wakko: I'll eat that!
YW+D : Hooray for sugar, 'cause we love it
Chocolate chips; we want more of it
Cakes and ice cream; watch us shove it
Down our throats real fast.
Yakko: Here's a candy bar, you tried it?
Wakko: Hey, let's all see what's inside it.
Yakko: Gelatinized triglycerin
Phosphate, soybean, lecithin
Deoxylite tri-silicon
Dipped in chocolate,
W+D : Bring it on!
Yakko: Citrus enzymes, BHT
Powdered milk,
Dot : Sounds good to me!
Yakko: Baking soda, carob gum
Carbohydrates,
W+D : Yummy yum!
YW+D : Monosodium glutamate
Zinc disodium algenate,
Whole grain flour, yeast and fat
Wakko: Time to eat it; I'll do that
YW+D : We like sweets a lot
So give us all you've got,
And we'll stuff them in our bodies
Till they make our insides rot.
And that concludes the amusement for this evening :Tom:

Deep in the hundred acre wood
Where Christopher Robin plays
You will find the enchanted
neighborhood
Of Christopher's childhood days
A donkey named Eeyore is his friend
And Kanga and little Roo
There's Rabbit and Piglet and there's Owl
But most of all Winnie the Pooh
Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh
Tubby litte cubby all stuffed with fluff
He's Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh
Willy-nilly silly ole bear

Uhhhhh I hate to say this to the "Undeafeated Seeker", but that isnt the Gogs theme song. The screaming is all wrong, it didnt go for 55 seconds it was only a 3 minute show they didnt waste 1 minute on the theme song, it sounds like some guys crappy imitation of it 'cause there wasnt a guitar in the song it was bongos or some kind of deep drumming sound, it also had people making some kind of gorilla sounds. The whole thing's out of whack.

I vaguely remember something like Plasmo.
I think I saw two episodes of it.
The most depressing cartoonseries I ever saw was called 'Maya The Bee'
http://www.cartoni.it/fnts/cartoni/immagini/278x182/apemaya01.jpg
Its about a bee.
thats it...
the adventures of a bee.
a bee called Maya.
she has a fatass friend.
But the episodes are just depressing. There wasn't any humor in it, as far as I remember.
I remember one episode in which a nasty spider built a web around this entire group of... insects.
Maya came to the rescue, got trapped in the web.
I think the fatass friend saved the day somehow... it was too depressing to concentrate on.
as you can see, even the colours have a washed out look.
I'm not sure if this has been brought up yet...
but here's Calimero
http://membres.lycos.fr/pinkypot/calimero.gif
I don't know from what country it is (Italy?)
It also has some rather depressing moments (maybe its just me, but most old cartoonseries depress me... must be the colours)
but in dutch the speech is hillarious!

This is a topic for the LOVE of old TV-showes and their TUNES. You are supposed to place a song and a lyric from one of your favourite childhood show.
Or if you have a request for an old theme song that you really want to hear again.
This topic is not meant to be used as a place where you badmouth old shows. If you want to discuss the quality of these old TV-shows, then you must open a new topic.
Sorry, but those are the rules :Tom:

The theme song to Nalle Luppakorva (Miś Uszatek), the wonderful Polish show about a teddy bear and his friends. I believe this is also very well known in other Central and Eastern European countries.
"Heipä hei!
Hyvää iltaa!
Luppakorva seikkailee taas.
Luppakorva-nimen sain,
korvani nääs lerputtaa.
Olen pieni nalle vain, pullea.
Lasten kansa viihdyn ain.
Olen pieni nalle vain, pörheä.
Lapset mua rakastaa."
And the closing song:
"Hyvää yötä piltit,

Lapsosista näkee nalle monta (märkää) unta."

Opening Theme:
It's not much of a life when you're just a pretty face,
Just to be whoever you are is no disgrace,
Don't be scared if you don't fit in,
Look who's in the reject bin!
It's the Raggy Dolls, Raggy Dolls, Dolls like you and me,
Raggy Dolls, Raggy Dolls made imperfectly,
So if you got a bump on your nose or a lump on your toes,
Do not despair,
Be like the Raggy Dolls, and say I just don't care,
'Cause Raggy Dolls, Raggy Dolls,
Are happy just to be,
Raggy Dolls, Raggy Dolls,
Dolls like you and me!
End Theme:
It's not much of a life when you're just a pretty face,
Just to be whoever you are is no disgrace,
Look around and you will find,
People of every kind!
Like the Raggy Dolls, Raggy Dolls, Dolls like you and me,
Raggy Dolls, Raggy Dolls made imperfectly,
So if you’re not at ease with your knobbly knees and your fingers are all thumbs,
Stand on your two left feet and join our raggy doll chums!
'Cause raggy dolls, raggy dolls
Are happy just to be,
Raggy dolls, raggy dolls,
Dolls like you and me!

Yessir when there is a wrong to right
Mighty Mouse will join the fight
On the sea or on the land
He gets the situation well in hand
So though we are in danger
We never despair
Cause we know that where there's danger
He is there!
He is there!
On the land!
On the sea!
In the air!
We're not worryin' at all
We're just listenin' for his call
"Here I come to save the day!"
That means that Mighty Mouse is on the way!
We're not worryin' at all
We're just listenin' for his call

OMG!!!
This is absolutely brilliant. It actually brought a tear to my eye!
To think you found the Miš Ušatek (that cute brown bear), and the Wolf and the Rabbit (from Russia)... I mean some of these cartoons are just excelent!
:ok: :ok: :ok:
I remember I used to record on plain tapes the tunes from cartoons when I was a kid. I must still have the Archies somewhere (around 90 minutes off different songs from their shows). Along with many others - but I'm affraid the quality is rather bad...
I would love to, however challenge our net searching master and ask him for a little favour!
A few cartoons:
Thundersub - if I'm not much mistaking it was a Japanesee cartoon. It was about a submarine/aircraft carrier. The aircraft carrier folded up and became this huge submarine, with a regular submarine attached at the bottom. I still have the tune somewhere,...
Balios - OK - don't hold your breath. I was 8 at the time and the cartoon was playing on an Italian chanell. I didn't understand a word - and this is the closest I could remember the title. It was about these spaceships joining into a huge robot that fought bad guys (and this was was animated - because I saw some similar showes made like the Thunderbirds).
Bert the Racoon - I'm not sure about the title, but I guess you all know which one I'm talking about.
OK - I'll do a sweep through my old tapes and maybe contribute something!

Mis Uszatek (or Nalle Luppakorva as he is known here in Finland.. or "Bear Floppy-ear" as he could be called in English) is one of the greatest programs of this kind, and for once the Finnish dubbing is spot-on and doesn't make the ears bleed.

As for the show you named Balios... about two spaceships combining efforts....
Sounds like it could be correct. In ancient greek mythology Balios & Xanthos are the two immortal horses of Achilles... They are stronger when they combine their effort.
Will see if I can find a matching show :)

Thunder sub is great! But I don't recal nay lyrics. I'll upload the tune myself (might be crapy quality, but I found it)!
About that Balios - it's three ships as far as I can remember. They could combine directly into a smaller robot or could summon op a big robot they'd all attach too!
Oh and I just remember another great cartoon - but I'm totaly cluless about it's title. The only thing I remember was, that all the character (the goodies and the baddies) had some armor on with animated animals (also they had some banner with animals). They could each change in the animal that they had! It was cool, but I saw it only a few times really long time ago.

Keeps on driving you wrong
Don't be afraid
You're not alone
Chorus:
You can run with us
We've got everything you need
Run with us
We are free
Co-co-co-come with us
I see passion in your eyes
Run with us
When the cold wind blows
Turn your collar to the cold
Don't be ashamed
If you need someone to hold
If you're sinking in quicksand (quicksand... quicksand...)
And its dragging you down
And you feel you're going under
We'll be around
You can run with us
We've got everything you need
Run with us
We are free
Co-co-co-come with us
I see passion in your eyes
Run with us
When you're behind closed doors
All alone by yourself
And you're longing inside
To be somebody else
You pick up the telephone
And theres no one on the line
Don't be afraid
Cos there's still time
You can run with us
We've got everything you need
Run with us
We are free
Co-co-co-come with us
I see passion in your eyes
Run with us
You can run with us
We've got everything you need
Run with us
We are free
Co-co-co-come with us
I see passion in your eyes
Run with us

No, this is NOT Jazz Jackrabbit, it is his brother Bucky O'Hare (http://kerner.dtdns.net/content/incoming/Tom%20Henrik/bucky.mp3)!
In another Dimension, another Time and Space
A Parallel Universe was fallin' on its Face
When out of the Chaos, who else could it be
Bucky Animal-Adventurers is on S.P.A.C.E.
Bucky! Captain Bucky O'Hare!
Mutants and Aliens and Toads beware!
You're looking for Adventure? Well, this is it,
With Jenny, Deadeye, Blinky, and Willy DuWitt
I said Bucky! Captain Bucky O'Hare!
"And now, an update on Bucky O'Hare and the Toad Wars!"
In the Battle of the Aniverse, you don't know what's next
You only know Amphibians have made it KOMPLEX!
When you check out your Scanner and the Evil that it shows
There's only one course of action: Let's croak us some Toads!
Bucky! Captain Bucky O'Hare!
He goes where no ordinary Rabbit would dare!
If your Righteous Indignation has suffered a hit
And your Photon Accelerator is broken a bit
And you're losing your mind, and you're having a fit
Get the funky fresh Rabbit who can take care of it!
Bucky! Captain Bucky O'Hare!
You say Bucky? I said Bucky!
Bucky O'Hare!
Let's croak us some Toads!

Some times, some crimes,
Go slippin' through the cracks
But these two, gumshoes,
Are pickin' up the slack!
There's no case too big, no case too small!
When you need help just call...
Ch-ch-ch-Chip 'n Dale!
Rescue Rangers!
Ch-ch-ch-Chip 'n Dale!
When there's danger!
Oh no it never fails once they're involved,
Somehow whatever's wrong gets solved!
Ch-ch-ch-Chip 'n Dale!
Rescue Rangers!
Ch-ch-ch-Chip 'n Dale!
When there's danger!
Oh no it never fails, they'll take the clues!
And find the wheres and whys and whos!
Ch-ch-ch-Chip 'n Dale!
Rescue Rangers!

When there's danger!

Ducktales (http://kerner.dtdns.net/content/incoming/Tom%20Henrik/ducktales.mp3)

Race cars, lasers, aeroplanes it's a, duck-blur!
Might solve a mystery, or rewrite hist'ry!
DuckTales!
(a - whooh ooh)
Every day they're out there making DuckTales!
(a - whooh ooh)
Tales of daring do bad and goodluck tales!
D - D - D - Danger!
(Watch behind you!)
There's a stranger
(out to find you!)
What to do?
Just grab on to some DuckTales!!
(a - whooh ooh)
Everyday they're out there making DuckTales
(a-whooh ooh)
Tales of daring do bad and good luck tales!

Thundering across the stars, to save the universe from the Monster Minds!
Jayce searches for his father, to unite the magic root, and lead his Lightning League to victory over the changing form of Sawboss!
Wheeled Warriors explode into battle! Lightning Strikes!
There's a power that comes from deep inside of you,
'Cause every day you're reaching for the light,
And you know there's a long long way ahead of you,
But when your wheels get you there,
Things will turn out rii-iight!
Just keep 'em turning, don't stop 'em rolling, the fire is on!
(Wheeled Warriors!)
B-B-B-Battle drums burning, a-wheels moving, Wheeled Warriors!
(Wheeled Warriors!)
Come take a chance, keep 'em turning, don't stop 'em rolling, the fire is on!

The Addams Family (http://www.abandonia.com/~sebatianos/addams.avi) by Vic Mizzy
They’re creepy and they're kooky,
Mysterious and spooky,
They’re all together ooky,
The Addams Family.
Their house is a museum.
When people come to see 'em
They really are a screa-um.
The Addams Family.
Neat
Sweet
Petite
So get a witch's shawl on.
A broomstick you can crawl on.
We're gonna pay a call on.

Then Transylviania,
Monaco, Liechtenstein
Malta, and Palestine,
Fiji, Australia, Sudan.
Palestine isn't a country.
Palestine is the name of a region spanning across Israel, parts of Syria and lebanon and Jordan and the palestinian territories.
Its like calling the Arabian peninsula a country [/b][/quote]
:ot: that's such a subjective issue !!!!! Palestine was a country but when Belfoure decided to implement the jews there they bought it from the palestinians (1940's) and created the nation of israel.

A traveler in time,
You fight for goodness.

Here is a nice tune from the glory days of Children Television, how many here can still remember the show Around the World with Willy Fogg (http://www.angelfire.com/grrl/ladynatasha/fogg.mp3)?
Fogg, I'm the one who made the bet and I know we'll be exactly right on time
Fogg is my name and I could play with my life in many ways - that's what they say
Here I am. I'm Rigadon, I’m a Tico - d'mascota
It’s my turn - the gentle touch of Romy - they love me so much
Hey now the story must go on ‘cause a lot of time has gone we must be ready to go away
CHORUS:
80 days around the world
We'll find a pot of gold just sitting where the rainbow's ending
Time - we'll fight against the time
And we'll fly on the white wings of the wind
80 days around the world
No we won't say a word before the ship is really back
Round, round, all around the world
Round, all around the world, round, all around the world, round, all around the world.
Look there's a lion over there
Let’s forget about our fears, we must be ready.
You Rigadon you have to save Romy's life as soon as daylight will arrive.
Tiko can bring us some luck we'll find around the world,
Romy now, that you’re with us you'll be the angel of the team.
Hey now they story must go on ‘cause a lot of time has gone, we must be ready to go away.
CHORUS X 3
80 days around the world
We'll find a pot of gold just sitting where the rainbow's ending
Time - we'll fight against the time
And we'll fly on the white wings of the wind
80 days around the world
No we won't say a word before the ship is really back
Round, round, all around the world
Round, all around the world, round, all around the world, round, all around the world.
80 days around the world
We'll find a pot of gold just sitting where the rainbow's ending
Time - we'll fight against the time
And we'll fly on the white wings of the wind
80 days around the world
No we won't say a word before the ship is really back
Round, round, all around the world
Round, all around the world, round, all around the world, round, all around the world.
80 days around the world
We'll find a pot of gold just sitting where the rainbow's ending
Time - we'll fight against the time
And we'll fly on the white wings of the wind
80 days around the world
No we won't say a word before the ship is really back
Round, round, all around the world
Round, all around the world, round, all around the world, round, all around the world.

Just too bad the last line is killed
Burl Ives is the master of the Grinch song.
You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch.
You really are a heel.
You're as cuddly as a cactus,
You're as charming as an eel.
Mr. Grinch.
You're a bad banana
With a greasy black peel.
You're a monster, Mr. Grinch.
Your heart's an empty hole.
Your brain is full of spiders,
You've got garlic in your soul.
Mr. Grinch.
I wouldn't touch you, with a
thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole.
You're a vile one, Mr. Grinch.
You have termites in your smile.
You have all the tender sweetness
Of a seasick crocodile.
Mr. Grinch.
Given the choice between the two of you,
I'd take the seasick crocodile.
You're a foul one, Mr. Grinch.
You're a nasty, wasty skunk.
Your heart is full of unwashed socks
Your soul is full of gunk.
Mr. Grinch.
The three words that best describe you,
are as follows, and I quote: "Stink. Stank. Stunk."
You're a rotter, Mr. Grinch.
You're the king of sinful sots.
Your heart's a dead tomato splot
With moldy purple spots,
Mr. Grinch.
Your soul is an apalling dump heap overflowing
with the most disgraceful assortment of deplorable
rubbish imaginable,
Mangled up in tangled up knots.
You nauseate me, Mr. Grinch.
With a nauseaus super-naus.
You're a crooked jerky jockey
And you drive a crooked horse.
Mr. Grinch.
You're a three decker saurkraut and toadstool sandwich
With arsenic sauce

GI Joe is the codename for America's daring, highly trained

It's purpose, to defend human freedom against Cobra-

They're Babs and Buster Bunny
Montana Max has money
Elmyra is insane
There's Hamton and Plucky
Dizzy Devil's ducky
Furrball's unlucky
and Go-Go is insane
At Acme Looniversity
We earn our toon degree
The teaching staff's
Been getting laughs since 1933
We're tiny, we're toony
We're all a little loony
It's Tiny Toon Adventures
Come and join the fun.
And now our song is done!

Yup, she's a pain, not insane... (actually she's both, but that's what the lyrics say). :music:

Banana Splits (http://tv.cream.org/specialassignments/themes/banana.mp3) anyone?
BANANA SPLITS THEME SONG, written by Tony Powers & Ritchie Adams
One banana, two banana, three banana, four
Four bananas make a bunch and so do many more.
Over hill and highway the banana buggies go
Coming on to bring you the Banana Splits show
Making up a mess of fun, Making up a mess of fun
Lots of fun for everyone
Tra la la, la la la la, tra la la, la la la la
Tra la la, la la la la, tra la la, la la la la
Four banana, three banana, two bananas, one
All bananas playing in the bright warm sun,
Flipping like a pancake, popping like a cork,
Fleagle, Bingo, Drooper and, Snork
Making up a mess of fun, Making up a mess of fun
Lots of fun for everyone
Tra la la, la la la la, tra la la, la la la la
Tra la la, la la la la, tra la la, la la la la
Two Banana, four banana, one banana, three
Swinging like a bunch of monkeys hanging from a tree
Hey there everybody won't you come along and see
How much like Banana Splits everyone can be
Making up a mess of fun, Making up a mess of fun
Lots of fun for everyone
Tra la la, la la la la, tra la la, la la la la
Tra la la, la la la la, tra la la, la la la la
Tra la la, la la la la, tra la la, la la la la

Yo, people.... You are forgetting the SONGS!
There are rules in this topic!
1. Post a song from a TV series from your childhood
2. Post the lyrics to the song
3. Post a picture from the series
Try to have all these points in your post, or don't post at all, rather REQUEST the song.
The whole point with this topic is to collect the songs for everyone to LISTEN too.
Just keep that in mind from now on.
Also, try not to fill this topic up with just posts. It should be filled with SING ALONG posts, not discussion posts. ;)
Tom out.

Super Girl
Kicking up the bad guys
Beating up a monster
Fighting against evil
I rescue this town
Over the buildings
Over the mountains
Over the blue sky
Over the rainbow
You know I'm a super girl!
Yes, I'm a funky girl
I never say die
No one can stop me!
Flying at high speed
Pounding the car race
Getting over crisis
I rescue the people
Over the buildings
Over the mountains
Over the blue sky
Over the rainbow
You know I'm a super girl!
Yes, I'm a funky girl
I never say die
No one can stop me!
Cause I, like to FIGHT!
Kicking up the bad guys
Beating up a monster
Fighting against evil
I rescue this town
Flying at high speed
Pounding the car race
Getting over crisis
I rescue the people
You know I'm a super girl!
Yes, I'm a funky girl
I never say die
No one can stop me!
Cause I, like to FIGHT

Sorry I wasn't able to produce the lyrics (too many songs - among other things), but here's my collection of The Archies.
I tried to tape evey single one of their songs (the ones they performed in the show) - mostly because back then I haven't even heard of a VCR (thus the poor quality of the sound), but here are the songs:

Here you are, the REAL TV G.I. JOE Theme Song, not the wuzzy one you guys found
That one I've already got. The one I asked for continues to elude me. :(
How have we gotten this far without Speed Racer? In English and Japanese, please, if you don't mind.
Requested and served. Sorry for the lack of lyrics.
Speed Racer ending (http://soundamerica.com/sounds/themes/Cartoons/R-S/speedr73.wav)
Speed Racer opening theme (1973) (http://soundamerica.com/sounds/themes/Cartoons/R-S/speedr73.wav)
Speed Racer opening theme (1994) (http://soundamerica.com/sounds/themes/Cartoons/R-S/speedrcr.wav)
Speed Racer (Japanese version) (http://soundamerica.com/sounds/themes/Cartoons/R-S/speedrja.wav)
As a side note, anyone got the music from the opening of Thunderstone series? The only version I managed to obtain was full of static. :( And that's a shame cause that music is awesome.

Lyrics for the 1994 Speed Racer theme:
"Mach 5" roaring like a jungle cat,
Danger spins on every curve.
Speed Racer and the gang all like it like that.
Speed Racer has the heart; he's got the nerve.
Go, Speed, go!
Let that "Mach 5" thunder roll.
You got the power Speed Racer; let it show.
Go, Speed, go!
Speed Racer's off on a new adventure,
Racer X is on the way.
Hey, Speed Racer; winners take the future,
And evil forces are in play.
Go, Speed, go!
Let that Mach 5 thunder roll.
You got the power Speed Racer; let it show.
Go, Speed, go!
Go, Speed, go!
Go, Speed, go!

KÄY MUUMILAAKSOON
(MP3 download (http://koti.mbnet.fi/herd/misc/05%20-%20K%e4y%20muumilaaksoon.mp3), 4,5mb)
Kun Muumipeikko, Pikku Myy
ja Muumipappa esintyy,
silloin laulu kutsukoon
tuijottelutuokioon.
Käy Muumilaaksoon! Käy Muumilaaksoon!
Muumitalon asukkaat,
seuraksesi kohta saat.
Pääset mukaan viidakkoon,
taikapilvikarkeloon, nyt Muumilaaksoon!
Nyt Muumilaaksoon!
Nyt Muumilaaksoon!
Nyt Muumilaaksoon!
Nyt Muumilaaksoon!
Nyt Muumilaaksoon!
Jos lähdet mukaan, lupaan sen:
Saat muumihetken mieluisen!
Vaikka mörön märinä
voi värisyttää välillä, käy Muumilaaksoon!
Jo muumiperhe odottaa,
ja huuliharpun repustaan
kaivaa Nuuskamuikkunen.
Hän soittaa tutun sävelen:
Vie Muumilaaksoon!
Vie Muumilaaksoon!
Vie Muumilaaksoon!
Vie Muumilaaksoon!
Vie Muumilaaksoon!
Vie Muumilaaksoon!
HEI MUUMIT
(MP3 download (http://koti.mbnet.fi/herd/misc/11%20-%20Hei%20Muumit.mp3), 4,5mb)
Vuorten ja laaksojen sylissä kaukana,
aukeaa muumien mukava maailma,
entisten aikojen maa, satujen maa.
On muumien elämä suvea suloista,
talven he nukkuvat loitolla murheista,
neulaset vain masussaan, ruokanaan,
ei sen parenpaa!
Ei muumitaloa lukita yöksi, hei muumit!
Kun hämärä hipuu,jo tähtien vyöksi, hei muumit!
Karkeloi kansa, ja kunnailla soi!
Muumeilta elämää oppia voi, hei muumit!
Hei muumit!
Pappa ei hatusta erkane ikänä, laukku on
Mammalla henki ja elämä, Nipsu se on
lääpällään, kimmeltävään. On keksijä-Niiskulla
nenällä kakkulat, siskonsa otsalla kiehkurat
hurmaavat, Hemuli hamuaa vaan helmojaan
ja kokoelmaa!
Ei muumitaloa lukita yöksi, hei muumit!
Kun hämärä hiipuu jo tähtien vyöksi, hei muumit!
Karkeloi kansa, ja kunnailla soi!
Muumeilta elämää oppia voi, hei muumit!
Hei muumit!
Ei muumitaloa lukita yöksi, hei muumit!
Kun hämärä hiipuu jo tähtien vyöksi, hei muumit!
Karkeloi kansa ja kunnailla soi!
Muumeilta elämää oppia voi, hei muumit!
Hei muumit!
Hei muumit!

NO-ONE can fathom my surprise and the feeling of supreme joy I am experiencing right now! I found something that I had given up all hope of ever seeing again!!! :Brain:
I am, of course, talking about the BRILLIANT series Spadla z oblakov, or Majka: Girl from Space (http://www.epoxid.sk/pozor/majka/majka.html).
http://www.mielofon.ru/kinofan/spad_z_obl/images/skrin34a.jpg
This amazing series was made in 1978 in Czechoslovakia and consisted of 13 episodes. Anyone who has watched this series will remember the cute little girl with the yellow dress, red rubber boots and her awesome powers. I think Norway was the only country this series was ever translated to, which is a shame, cause it is one of the most memorable series ever created! :ok:
Anyways... without any more fuzz.... Here are the two songs from Spadla z oblakov :w00t:
(If someone could translate the song titles, I would be forever grateful. The lyric is for song number two. The first song is shorter than the second, so I guess the first song is the end theme, and the last song is the opening theme.)

Deti vesmiru - "Spadla z Oblakov" ('http://download.rusf.ru/mielofon/szo/szo2.mp3')
Na Zemi jsou děti Země kosmem letí
Nese si všechny svoje atomy
Vědci podnět mají, třeba si tam hrají
Takové děti jako my
Plné dětí – plné dětí
Jsou ty světy Jsou ty světy
O kterých každý večer sníme
Jednou sednem jednou sednem
Do rakety Do rakety
Pak za nimi poletíme
Poletíme poletíme
Mají stejné vlaky umí pouštět draky
a taky stejně lezou na stromy.
Je tam stejná škola, máma na ně volá
když stejně zlobí ako my.
Plné dětí – plné dětí
Jsou ty světy Jsou ty světy
O kterých každý večer sníme
Jednou sednem jednou sednem
Do rakety Do rakety
Pak za nimi poletíme
Poletíme poletíme
Raketa těch dětí, k nám už asi letí
možná že zítra ráno přistane.
Za borovým lesem z oblohy se snese
a na zemi už zůstane.
Plné dětí – plné dětí
Jsou ty světy Jsou ty světy
O kterých každý večer sníme
Jednou sednem jednou sednem
Do rakety Do rakety
Pak za nimi poletíme
Poletíme poletíme
.. aby sme si zahráli.

This must be my lucky day!
Not only did I stumble upon Majka, but I also found the opening VIDEO of Les mondes engloutis (http://maryjulie.free.fr/mondes_engloutis_debut.mpeg), or better known as Arkadia, or Shagma as it was also called.
Suis Spartakus, Bob, Rebecca
O vous, enfants de lumi?re suivez-moi
Vous qui connaissez notre passé
Vers Arkadia, vers les Mondes Engloutis
Pour nous sauver la vie...
Refrain :
Suis Spartakus, Bob, Arkana
O toi, enfant du ciel marche sans effroi
Dis-nous que demain il revivra
Sors le Shagma le soleil de l'oubli
Des Mondes Engloutis
Refrain
*** Break musical ***
Suis les Mondes Engloutis
Jusqu'au creux de la Terre
Enfant pars et vole avec nous
Au fond des univers...

Another brilliant show was another French production; Il était une fois l'homme (http://opa2000.free.fr/il_etait_une_fois_lhomme.ram). Or Once Upon a Time, or something like that. The Norwegian translation was "There once was a Human..."
I had almost forgotten about this one.... Anyways... Enjoy the soothing music of Johan Sebastian Bach :ok:
