Offical Abandonia Hi-score Lists [Archive]

Its time for the Hi-Score lists!

Heres how it goes:

1.Play the game that is mentioned in the Hi-Score list.
2.Play the game and get nice score.
3.Send me a picture of the Hi-Score via PM. Dont forget to mention what game is it.
4.After a while, il add the Hi-Score in the list.

Heres a couple of things:

1.Please, dont use any cheats or money giving bugs.
2.Just like above but please, dont manipulate any pictures you sent.
3.Dont sent a picture of a game that isnt mentioned in Hi-Scores.
4.If you have a new idea of a game in this list, mention it in this topic. Also mention the type of score it has (Kills,Score,citizen...etc)

Tyrian? I've got a save-game on that where I finished the whole game, started over with the same ship and same score, finished it again, and now I'm on my third run! My current score is kinda... huge :P

Il consider adding pinball games and Bubble Bobble later.

Report: Nikson did it again. Now a he got some score in Paratrooper.
But a new player has arrived in the list: The Swiss(who is not a swiss).

Nikson is right now a best possible candidate for the "King player" title.

Remember, it doesnt matter if youre first or second in the list. The best thing is that you get your name in the list (altought being in the first place in nice bonus).

Edit: here, in 2 mins (the time it took to fire the game with DOSBox and play it once) I got 461 points.

How can i take pictures in a Game?

Run them with DosBox, and press CTRL+F5 to take a screenshot. Then go to the "captures" folder in your DosBox folder and you'll find the screenshot there as a .png image file.

It doesn't have to (and I think it shouldn't) be an email. You should send a PM with a link to the screenshot (uploaded for example on photobucket.com)

My guess is that TheChosen doesnt want the topic to get too cluttered, in which case he might miss some people's screenshots. If every high score is sent to his inbox, he can't miss it.

Use DosBox and press CTRL+F5. Then look in the "captures" subfolder, in your DosBox folder.

I just played it for the first time on PC as well. What's with the complaints about level 3? I used to have it on the Spectrum, it was called "Batty", and DAMN, level 3 was way harder! The unbreakable bricks had a much more complex pattern.

We should make some official rules for this. I suggest:

1. The Player that holds first place in more games than any other Player is declared the Champion Gamer
2. If it is a tie between two or more Players, none are declared Champion Gamer
3. When a Player dethrones the Champion Gamer (by having more first place scores than the Champion), the Champion Gamer is allowed 3 (three) days in which to defend and hold his title (by getting first place in the majority of games again) before the new Player may take over and wear the Championship Belt

What do you think?

I dont know...you can easily modify it with a text editing programs.

I'm only asking because I happen to have found the flg file for my all-time ADOM highscore which I got more than a year ago on my computer. Just ignore all my smug comments, OK? I added them when I submitted that character to the ADOM Hall of Fame. Feeling slightly embarassed about them now, actually...:unsure:

Honestly, I have to say, that game is verry disrespectful and distasteful, why you have it on your comp I'l never know.

EDIT: oh ya, and I beat the last 2 araknoid scores, turned out I had a dif copy then the one here, woulda beaten swiss but it was time to go to bed LOL. I was on like 2 levels after the boss I think, honestly, sometimes I think I get more points from the lil floaty things that drop down from the top than from the actual bricks... :blink:
