You mean that game were you acted as an vacuum cleaner or something like that?
Thought it was a game brought to Win95 by Microsoft. If so, then it might be that it isnīt abandonware, and probably never will be.
But if you want another game with the same name... cliquer ici! (http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?id=3119)

I think I know what he's talking about...but I don't remember the name. They always used this game to display computer power when they displayed computers in Wal-mart and Sam's Club. Was it a windows game where you had to drive your hovercraft around and play capture-the-flag?

I think you can only get it by installing Windows 95. I'll take a look around the web, but maybe if you popped the Windows 95 disc, and look for an extras, or games, or misc, or exc. folder?

Yeah the game was called hover on the Windows 95 cd and you could play a capture the flag type mode.

It should be on most Win95 cd's... If you can still find one :)
The game is very addictive and a lot of fun. Those were some good days after I discovered it :)
It was also very easy :P

well, Its most certainly not on the net. All I can find is some sort of bad remake and everything else involves 'tanks'.

I have the Windows 95 cd somewhere in my house that contains that, I can't distribute it though cause I have to install 95 and it's made by microsoft. You can try to e-mail microsoft asking them for the demo or the full game.

Hello,
I just ran across my old Win95 disk, and I found an old classic! It's called "Hover!" a catch the flag style, bumper car type, hovercraft...

Well anyway,
The whole thing can be zipped up under 7MB. :w00t:
Wikipedia Article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hover)! Link repaired :ok:

Hover! (August 1995)
Developed & Published by Microsoft.

Should be ESA protected until 2011...but they allow you to download it (from Microsoft's Public FTP server), so probably it's freeware.

Remember that Freeware games belong to Abandonia Reloaded, so probably you won't see it here.
Anyway, thanks for your support :)

Anyone remember this simple but addictive little gem? Apparently it was thrown in with Windows 95, and I stumbled across it elsewhere on the Internet and downloaded it on a whim. Gameplay-wise it resembles nothing so much as Capture the Flag in glorified bumper cars, played in first person over three levels in total. The graphics bring to mind the old 3D Maze screensaver, and I suspect one derived from the other.

Anyway, it's still available for free download from Microsoft, but I'm happy to provide a review and some screenshots. I also have a .zip file ready if it disappears from their public FTP site. Any takers?

Since it's free, it's a matter for Abandonia Reloaded (http://reloaded.org/). Please use the forums' search function next time to not multiplicate threads on the same subject - thanks. ;)
