Starsiege Tribes (http://www.reloaded.org/download/Starsiege-Tribes/31/) it's a fun online first person shooter. This game can be played in teams (CTF, deathmatch...) and myself along with some other members (mostly me; nobody said yes or no in the AR Tribes multiplayer tread LOL (http://www.reloaded.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=82&st=0)) decided to make a tread here hoping that more people will want to join us, so if you want click here (http://www.reloaded.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=82&st=0) and...*thinks of what to say; it's so hard to make topics :P * drop us a line. :bye:

i see people with friggin 45% accuracy if thats not hacked i dont know what is :ranting:

I see people with %60 and they don't use hacks. They practiced. Im on of those people who got %60 without hacks! :D But it does take a while to learn how to aim pretty good.

If the first has vehicles then I'll try to find a way to play it as soon as possible.

The tribes we have on AR has vehicles, and there is a mod (renegades ?) which adds more weapons and vehicles.

If it works on Win98 SE I'm pretty sure it works on XP. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Well, seems Im gonna be hosting, according to Abi. I'll be avaliable on sunday, from when I wake up (10 am GMT) 'till later (11pm GMT) so, whenever. Saturday, the evening. Today, until 7pm.

Well which Service Pack do you have?
That can make a huge difference sometimes (Some games are compatible with Service Pack 1, other just won't work at all with 2).

Tribes is basically made for windows very well, I can't seem to crash it.

Tribal news report: I managed to make a server which Danny could see, but he didn't manage to make a server which I could see. I'm making a screenshot of my setting now for Danny or anyone else interested in hosting.

Danny, are you sure this are your setting ? I cannot host because my computer is weak, but Danny can. Odd, I can't see his server. Neither can the people on the tribes irc channel.

The Dallas has a big ping for me....sometimes. Elite Renegades is the one I'm used to.

150 is low. Imagine I play on Elite Renegades server with a 200-220 ping, and on a game named wulfram with ~300 ping, but it is still playable (and no, I'm not crazy :D )

It is playable (no lag) but you have to shoot in the direction whre you think your enemy will be because of the ping, so you would see how your core would improve if you'd have ping around 50...

Really ? Hm...I never had a ping around 50. ~110 in Tribes and ~320 in Wulram. Ah, well. Maybe one day....

NOTE: Because the Tribes 1 master servers had been working intermittently, they went down on 14th December 2005, with no news if they would ever come back up. Members of the community have taken it upon themselves to host a new Master Server. ZedRWX is currently running one at alpha.primehosting.us:28000 (taken from Starsiege Tribes' MobyGames trivia submitted by me)
