Well, as I tell everyone I talked about over the phone, it almost makes sure people see your message, or at least know about it when they log in. Consider it to be the 'express' or 'priority' mail :)

might become handy in case of an emergency.. if u wanna get sure that the person notice your msg right after he logs in.. and it would be nice if the mobile has more functions like msg forwarding or a msg box where u can store the last 2 or 3 msg's you received.. but that would probably cause to much traffic for an almost ad-free online game

I've got a couple of syringes left, bu have been unable to use them. There are no Z's to shoot or sample from, there's no one to heal... Weird. :blink:

Btw, does the game decide randomly which zombie you try to revive? I mean, if there's like 70 zombies there and I try to revive one and turns out that it has brain rot, and I try again, do I just waste the syringe automatically on the same zombie?

Same with the DNA Extractor, it there's lost of zombies and I hit one that's been scanned already, is it of any use to try again to get a fresh one or will I just waste the AP then? Wouldn't need much work to test and figure this out, but I haven't yet cared to risk to waste the AP, so I thought I'd ask first if someone has tried.

The game has it's own logic, which is pretty challenging to a human memory, so we'll have to DNA scan and memorize, which one we remembered, if the selecting tab would have numbers, that could help

Shotgun training sure helps - I'm more then halfway towards level 3 now.

That's nothing Kearnsy. I wanted to test out my new 55% hit-rate with my pistols when i first got it, so I ran outside and got about 18 misses in a row. Then I fired my 30% shotgun and hit with both barrels

There is nothing wrong with the probability system. It's working perfectly. If there wasn't such so extreme results, then I would say that the system is flawed.

Errm... I have a question. Now that I am in Yagoton, what am I supposed to do to be officially acknowledged as a member of The Abandoned?

BTW. Not sure if anyone else of you have encountered anything the likes of, but I went a little east for zombie-hunting - and found out that a zombie was hunting me. I just barely entered the sector it was in when the thing attacked me about half a dozen times. I ran away a bit, and it immediately followed me.
The creature ran away when I punched a couple large holes in it with my trusty shotgun.

Currently I'm in Newbould Place PD, using my AP's to restock on ammunition. Got a bucketload of pistol clips already, but am looking for more shotgun shells.
Oh, and after my unfortunate zombie encounter, I have gotten enough XP's to buy Free Running. That will allow me to enter the mall on the north, hopefully.

Check up on the profile of "Ahmik (http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=264929)". Seems attacking humans at YRC is his only purpose for sitting there. Not sure whether I should blast him or leave him to his own fate.

Check the Brain Rotters list at YRC Wiki page. They are free game, even at RP, since they only soak up syringes and obstruct normal Clinic functioning.

The UD Abandoned forum is currently down. I removed access to non admin for time being since there is absolutly nothing I can do myself. I really need to get a hold of Olsheep somehow. I may have found the cure to this problem, but without olsheep I am at a complete loss.

At the meantime, I beleives Nathan created a yagoo group. You can find it here (http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/TheAbandonedUrbanDead/).

According to Olsheep, an important structural file of the old board got corrupted in some way. Only Olsheep had the codes and passwords necessary to repair it, and instead he moved us to a more stable and secure board.

You can now access the new and improved board at the same url than the old one. Not even a need to change your bookmarks. :D
