Liberal Crime Squad & Oubliette

This might be tough but il give it a try.

Two new forum games: Fantasy RPG Oubliette and Strategy\RPG grime game Liberal Crime Squad.

Oubliette is an tale of heroes, who have to travel in the dungeon and fight monsters and collect treasure.

Liberal Crime Squad is an game, where you have to command a crime squad and fight against the evil conservatives.

You can join in these games. The recruitment is starting now and will never end.

In oubliette, you need to choose race and character class:

Dwarf
Elf
Hobbit
Orc
Ogre
Kobold
Gnoll

Hirebrand (In other words: Fighter)
Mage
Ninja
Paladin
Peasant
Priest
Ranger

Samurai
Thief

In Liberal Crime Squad, i get new members whenever someone wants to join.

NOTE: I just found these games. Im not expert in these (Exspecially in LCS). The characters might die, but i can make new ones.

If you got any questions, just ask. We will start playing after we have enough members.

I'd love to join, but I really don't know anything about the games or how you intent to play them.

I only know about Liberal Crime Squad by way of AR... And Oubliette by a short HOTU passage.

Il also put me in these games(As a character). This is *must* in Liberal Crime Squad because the group needs a leader.

Both games doesnt have any graphic(Only text). Il try to make Oubliettes Adventures and LCS battle reports in a nice story.

actualy as far as I remeber (the version I played wasn't final, and I'm not sure if such version [final != last] will ever exist) you can't just put new members in, you have to go and recruit them.
that said, I want to be (in my past Life) a programmer.

@ The Chosen : I was just kiddin', i too played ASCII rogue games until recently. I was just amazed that young people (and not only old farts like me) would actually prefer text games over the way-cool-amazing-in-your-face 3D graphics of today ! :ok:

First Oubliette report is here!


It was a rainy day at the LIGNE castle. In the LIGNE tavern, a gentleman thief TheChosen, who just graduated at the Thieves Guild, is looking for new members for his quest.
Just when he is about to drink his third martini, two strangers, one short and one tall wearing robes, sit at the opposite of the table.

Tc: Can i help you?
Hooded guy: Are you TheChosen?
Tc: Thats me. Are you interested in the dungeon?
short guy: Aye lad. We just graduated at our schools.

Robe guy looks at TheChosen.

Hooded guy: My name is Bobbin, Bobbin Threadbare, Fresh graduate at the Magical Alliance.
Short guy: And im Kearnsey, a fine dwarf samurai.
Tc: Nice to meet you. Are you guys ready to go?
Bobbin: Not yet, we have to buy some equipment first.
Tc: Got money?
Kearnsy: Aye.
Tc: Then we will go.

The triplet leaves the tavern. They dont notice a dark person looking at them at the ceiling.
After the shopping trip, everyone stands at the gate of the dungeon. Wind becomes stronger.

Kearnsy: Wheres are the real heros when you need them?
Tc: Theyre travelling. Saving the world.
Bobbin: Kearnsy is right. Just look at us! Were all wearing cloaks and holding shitty weapons.
Tc: Im not afraid, we have you.
Bobbin: What so special about me?
Tc: You can do magic.

TheChosen enters the dungeon. Kearnsey follows him.
Bobbin: I just graduated! What do you think i am? A black mage from Final Fantasy?
Bobbin follows them.

In the dungeon:
Kearnsy: Shees! Something rotting!
Tc: Stay on your guard boys. Someone might attack us any minute now.

Suddenly something screams at the darkness.
Tc: Orcs!
Kearnsy: Orcs! Where!

Bobbin points the four orcs that are standing and bulging theyre muscles.
Kearnsy: RAAAGH!

The party enters the battle. Dagger and short swords swing in the air. They are victorious!

Bobbin: I made it!

Suddenly a orc gives a final deadly blow to Bobbin before it dies.

Kearnsy: Aaaw crap!
Tc: Grab his body, were going to have to take him to the hospital.

Kearnsy grabs the body and they start to go back to the exit.

Later, in the hospital.

Tc: Is he going to survive.
Healer: Survive? What do you think? Hes dead!
Kearnsy: My friend means: What are you going to do to him?
Healer: You dont know? You are a bunch of n00bs!
Healer calms down a little.
Healer: Were going to have to resurrect him.
Tc: Sounds great, lets do it!
Healer: No no no no noo. Our hospital needs a donation first.
Tc: How much money we have?
Kearnsey Searches his pocket. He finds 22 gold going, half eaten chocolate bar and a pocket flint.
Kearnsey gives the 22 gold goins to healer.
Healer: Just a second.
Healer leaves the room. Few minutes pass until he returns.
Healer: Sorry, but our main heale is "busy" right now. Shoo!
Kearnsey and TheChosen are forced to leave the hospital, they leave Bobbins body at the hospital.
Tc: Looks like were going to need some more money.



First report of the LCS will be posted tomorrow. Luckily today.

January 1 2005.

It was a quiet day at the Morning Cup Latte Stand. A young college student named A1s is doing his homeworks.
Well, he is trying to do his homeworks. Actually he is watching a guy who is sitting at the same table.

Mysterious person: Watcha doing?
A1s: Homework.
Mysterious person: You dont happen to have band aid?
A1s: No, why do you...
Mysterous person removes his coat. A1s looks at the several bullet wound in persons body.
A1s: My god! What happened?
Mp: Police. I was at the chemical plant, yelling that the chemical experiments hurts animals. Then the police game. When they saw me, they started to shoot me.
A1s: Thats horrible!
Mp: Yes, it is. And im going to do something about it. Theres only one reason for this violence.
A1s: Well?
Mp: Conservatives. Theyre all making this.
A1s: Hmm...what should we do about it?
Mp: Theres one way. Im going to start a liberal gang, who protects the normal citizens. Im going to crush those conservatives!
A1s: Yes! What an idea! Can i help you?
Mp: Sure! We will start the gang and blow those conservatives to kingdom to come!
A1s: What is your name by the way?
Mp: Im called TheChosen. But my friends call me Tc.
Suddenly, a weird guy sits at the same table.
Crack Head: I heard what you guys are talking about. Can i join in too!
Tc: Of course. Whats your name?
Crack Head: My mother called me a mistake, but i think my name is PrejudiceSucks.
PrejudiceSucks pulls a couple of pills from his pocket and throws them in his mouth.
Tc: Okay guys,lets go looks for an hideout!

January 2 2005
The liberal gang has set up their hideout at the homeless shelter.
PrejudiceSucks: Look what i brought! An American flag!
A1s: Where do we need an American flag?
Tc: To cover that crack on the wall. I asked him to buy a flag or something.
Tc covers the crack with the flag. PrejudiceSucks sits on a flea-infested cough.
PrejudiceSucks: Now..what should we call ourselfs?
Tc: I have been thinking about it, how about Liberal warriors?
A1s: I got better name, weawers Guild!
PrejudiceSucks: Naah! But what about Tougies.
A1s: :sick: . How about Avalanche!
Tc: Now i got it! What do you think about....
A moment of silence.
Tc: ....Abandonia!
PrejudiceSucks and A1s starts clapping wildly.

Okay! This report is late, but my mom told me to quit when i was finishing my report. And next day, my little sister was on the computer all day.

January 2, 2005

Tc: Were going to do our first strike, but first we must do some preparations.
Tc: Im going to steal a car. We need a car if we have to get far fast.
A1s: Can i do something?
Tc: Of course. Youre going to have to surf in the internet. Look for some opinion polls and find out what people hate and like. PrejudiceSucks: Since youre a crack head and you know about drugs, you will sell some of these "Liberal Boosts" that i have made.
PrejudiceSucks: Yes sire.

Later at same day:
Tc finds a nice pickup truck.
Tc aproaches it and jimmies the lock.
He enters the car and hotwires it.

Tc: Hah! What an easy way to get a car!

At park:
Man: Are you sure these are safe?
PrejudiceSucks: Of course! What kind of crack head you think i am?

January 3,2005
A1s: I saw nothing special at the internet.
Tc: too bad, i still managed to steal a car tought.
PrejudiceSucks: I managed to sell a couple of pills. What do we do now?
Tc: We will go to the weapon and costume shop "Oubliette" and buy some weapons for you.

At the Oubliette shop, our gang buys an axe and a sword. Sword goes to A1s and axe to PrejudiceSucks. Tc buys....

PrejudiceSucks: An black robe?
Tc: I dont want weapons! I want to look cool and scary!

January 4

Tc: Im going to sent you to your first mission. You will attack in the apartment. Steal lots of stuff in there and contact a person.
A1s: Who is this person?
Tc: His name is Omg. He wants to join us.

They both leave homeless shelter and enter the college apartment.
At the apartment, they find a shady guy hanging in the lobby.

Shady guy: A1s?
A1s: Thats me.
Shady guy: Im Omg, a musician. Can we do one thing before we leave?
A1s: What is it?
Omg: I want to avenge my landlord! Lets kill him!
PrejudiceSucks: YEAH!

They all enter the landlord office.

Omg: Hes not here. Lets take his stuff.

Suddenly, Landlord rushes in from the door.

Landord: What the----

Omg hits the landlord right in the face.

Omg: Take that you dirty conservative bastard!

A1s and PrejudiceSucks laugh. They start to hammer landlords head with their weapons.
Landlord dies after couple of blows.

Omg: Lets get outta here!

Everyone leaves the apartment before police arrives.

Summary: PrejudiceSucks dealth deadlyblow to the landlord. The party managed to steal some expensive stuff.

Nevermind, I already found out.

I dont care about that,but the LCS game can actually take quite long time and many restarts in case you dont know exactly how the game works

Tc: Very good! You killed our first conservative. The world is better place now.
Omg: But he was just a land lord...
Tc: Whatever. Were going to have to do something now. What do we have in our stores A1s?
A1s: We have some clothes, Silverware,Computer and tv.
Tc: Good, we can get a couple of buck from those. Lets go to the la Russa Cash & Loans.

Party sell the loot and they get 290$.

January 6 2005
Tc: Okay boys, now we need to make another strike. I suggest that we attack and loot the Cable news station.
Omg: That doesnt sound like a good idea....
Tc: Dont worry, i bough a GUN when we were at the pawn shop.
Omg: Lets go!

In the car, the group is checking their weapons while Tc is driving.
Omg: What about my gun?
Tc: What gun? I didnt said that i bought YOU a gun.
Omg: You bastard.....

Party arrives in the station. In the lobby their greeted by janitor wearing hood.
Hooded janitor: Welcome to cable news station. How can i help you?
Tc: The birds are on the antenna.
Hooded janitor: Oh its you. I left the door to the studio open. Use it anytime you want.
Hooded janitor points east corridor, then runs away from the door.
A1s: Who was he?
Tc: A guy who i had to bribe so we can get in. Lets go.

Guys go to the studio.
Tc: Great! No one is here!
Tc pushes PrejudiceSucks in front of the cameras.
PrejudiceSucks: What do i have to do?
Tc: Talk about how big salaries does the CEOs have.
Camera is on.
PrejudiceSucks: Well...eeehh....good morning boys and girls. Sorry that i had to cansel your morning cartoons, but i have something important to tell you. Bring your mom and daddy to the front of Tv, please.
PrejudiceSucks waits.
PrejudiceSucks: Thank you. Now, about the CEOs....
Prejudice talks and talks for couple of minutes. It was a medicore show.
Suddenly, two security guards rush in and shoot the camera.
PrejudiceSucks: What the hell are you doing! Were just...
Guard: Dont try to fool me a.s.shole!
Guard tries to shoot tc, but he misses. Other security guard runs away and tries to get help.
A1s, who was hiding behind the door, suddenly jumps out and slashes security guards right arm. Arm drops in the floor and blood is squirted everywhere. PrejudiceSucks finished the security guard by hitting the security guard in stomach with his huge axe.
Tc: Get his stuff! Okay liberals, its time to show how we can run away!
Squad manages to get away without further fights.
At the base, the liberals are greeted by the same hooded guy.
A1s: Oh muck they followed us!
Tc: Hold on! I promised him that he can join us if he helps us.
Hooded Janitor: Thats right! The names Bobbin, Bobbin Threadbare.

Also, status of the each liberal is at the first page.
