Heh heh heh... you KNEW I had to do this one sooner or later. After all, evil geniuses need to know the competition. So, I wonder who everyone's favorite EEEEVIL villians are?

For me, there are two that stand out as far as PC games go. The first is SHODUN (SHODAN?) From System Shock (WHich I would LOVE to find someday...). This creepy AI fills anyone with dread,and taunts the player throughout the game. She's #1 in the evil game villian list.

#2 would have to be the Overmind from Starcraft. Like me, he seeks total domination. Better still, he turned one of the good guys into a wonderful pawn for his own evil plansd. I wonder when she will realize that though...


ANyway.. who are the villians you love to hate?

We had a thread about this once... If I remember correctly.
Probably gone now.

As for my favorite villain: Kane, from C&C (the first one, the TS Kane was a dissappointment :not_ok: ).

My favorite of all time has to be Devil Hulk, if it's not gaming.
Otherwise it should be LeChuck.

Jon Irenicus is a predictable yet excellent choice, as is Domino. He's top class as a baddie.

I have to vote for:
Malcolm the Jester from the Kyrandia games (he's evil, but funny)
Purple Tentacle from Day Of The Tentacle (he's evil, but kinda cute)
Shodan from System Shock (just plain scary)


I also have to say Gollum from LOTR films. Poor, misunderstood Gollum.

My two faves are not from gaming, sadly.

1. Dr. Doom - he's one of the few villains in Marvel universe that can actually achieve the rule-the-world-and-all-that sort of goal, and IMO he's more charismatic (in an evil way) then Darth Vader. Sad really that they have soo screwed him up in the FF movie.
2. Purgatori. Daemonic vampire godess with thirst for blood, power and destruction. Who can not love such a being?

Hey ! Gollum's not a vilain ! He sings nice songs by the pool and just wants his precious back ! He's cool really ! The world would have been a better place without your nasty uncle snatching the precious from poor Gollum ! :cry:


My personnal favorite bad guy is definitely Kangaxx the demi lich from Baldur's Gate 2. The only bad guy you litteraly have to build ! :D

But the most evilist person in the world ever without a question of a doubt is Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty/Kingdom Hearts. She is pure evil
