I can't seem to run this game on XP at all, I managed to do everything in this guide.
http://www.home.earthlink.net/~infernofile...1thHr_Setup.htm (http://www.home.earthlink.net/~infernofilecabinet1/XpSetUpWalkthroughsA_E/11thHr_Setup.htm)

Downloaded a few of these files http://cheatz.spieletips.de/cgi-bin/rate/r...file=11hwin.zip (http://cheatz.spieletips.de/cgi-bin/rate/rate.pl?FROM=html&LANG=de&http://www2.dlh.net/cgi-bin/dlp.cgi?lang=eng&sys=pc&file=11hwin.zip). Game runs, but goes to fast and crashes to the desktop whenever I click a puzzle at the start. Anything else I can try?

Thanks.

It runs in DOS according to my manual so try DOSBox. There's a guide here somewhere.

I've tried Dosbox, I get this message.

'This program cannot be run in Dos mode'.

Hi there. I had problems with this a few months ago myself. I found a website with a good patch and after downloading it and installing it to my 11th Hour file, I had no trouble running the game.

Here's a link to the site: http://www.tbyte.com/downloads/

It's the last file at the bottom.

Good luck! :)

That's the file I downloaded on the site I posted in my first post...
http://cheatz.spieletips.de/cgi-bin/rate/r...file=11hwin.zip (http://cheatz.spieletips.de/cgi-bin/rate/rate.pl?FROM=html&LANG=de&http://www2.dlh.net/cgi-bin/dlp.cgi?lang=eng&sys=pc&file=11hwin.zip)

It still crashes when I click the puzzles. There must be something else I'm doing wrong.

You've got to use the tool and run it in compatibilty mode for win95

I had quite a few problems with this one myself. It works in DOSBox, but you need the newest version (otherwise it had some VESA compatibility problems - at least that's what it said to me).
There might be different version of the game out there. I have the DOS version, but if I'm not mistaking there was also a Windows version of the game. Which one do you have?
