Rejoice! :D

We'll be adding A LOT of cool songs there soon, and when I say A LOT, I mean A LOT. I plan to build the most comprehensive quality game music archive out there so any help from your side is appreciated too :ok:

Hope you like the new music section layout!

Cheers

Hey, in case of that, can I upload the CD-music from Descent II as .mp3's? I love the music of this game and am sure you would like it too. Or perhaps the CD-music of Mechwarrior II. Or that of Alien Trilogy, where the CD-music of this game is just awesome... I would be happy to do this! http://forum.giga.de/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I'd love to hear the music from Atlantis: The Lost Tales. I thought the soundtrack was outstanding. If anyone has it...? I'll try to find it in the meantime.

The layout of the music pages look great, Kosta, and they're easy to navigate. :ok:

Freddy, just upload whatever you consider worthwhile, and I'll add it :)

And since you like the soundtrack for Descent II... how about reviewing it for the site. Both Descent games are in the upload que :sneaky:

Hmm, well, sure. But I only will have time for that on Sunday now.
After all, from Monday on it's time for the college, so I'll not even have every day time for the PC at all... 5 am - awaking, 3.00 pm - school end. 5.00 pm - I'm at home then. Homework follows and what remains? Around 1-2 hours free time... :(

you know what game had a really nice soundtrack? Beyond Good and Evil.
also Frank Klepacki's work on the C&C games (well actually all the old westwood games) is outstanding.

I remember two years ago.
there was an argument during my french class.
the teacher turns to me (I had been silently watching the argument, happy with the fact we weren't learning a thing) and asks me if I had a solution to the french problem.
At the very moment she asked that frank Klepacki's Hells March started playing in my head

But great prospects for the future, when it's finished. http://forum.giga.de/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif

great thing, kosta! i think an extended music section on abandonia will make
our site even more interesting, than it already is...!!!

maybe we should put up a list, containing the games from which soundtracks will
be provided and the users who are going to provide them. this way we could avoid
double contributions and ppl can work more systematically. just like the "games
that need reviews" thread...

I would not want to kill your enthusiasm Strobe but you just resurected a 5 months old thread and the music section is already up since a long time...

uuups, now that's kind of embarrasing...

strange though, for this thread appeared in the "view new posts" list, today....

anyway, thanks for pointing out, eagle! :D
