Another GTA scandal....now from San Andreas.
A hacker (Or should i say Cracker) managed to crack the "GTA San Andreas" game and he found something interesting.
It was a mini-game, that had possibility to have very loud sex.
Yup. Thats right.
Rockstar said that the mini-game was a mod. But the scandal continued because the same mini-game was found in the PSX2 version.
Oh, and the mini-game is called as "Hot Coffee".

Heh, this is old news even to me. No harm for bringing it up again though when you missed the other topic, TheChosen! Always fun to talk about what people hide in games that aren't supposed to be found...Those "easter eggs" that AREN'T supposed to located except by that one pissed developer

All I can say is that it's created an absolute shitstorm everywhere other than the UK, because here it's already an 18. Also, the media is giving out a lot of bad information. For starters, you have to download it, then you have to change the .ini files, then you have to play the game up until you have sex with whoever it is, then you have to put up with the crappily skinned sex scene.
It's not easy and it's not fun, kids. But sex doesn't merit games getting banned, it's an element of human life, just as violence is. And if you're going to include violence in a game suitable for 17-year olds then I don't see why putting in sex makes it transform into a game for 18 year olds that won't get sold anywhere even remotely easy to get to.
The BBFC did the right thing, I'm not sure that anybody else has.
Oh and the Peaceaholics can piss off until their name becomes pronouncable. Also, I don't really see why some Christian hippies can tolerate a game which contains a lot of violence, but then slam a game for containing sex.
Such is life though, there will always be reactions to everything.

Hehehe LOL
Kind of funny to see rockstar screw it up again... They've got it coming anyway for making such a bad game...

heh LOL... this has to be one of the most stupid things ever. I mean the game is full of absolutely pointless violence, killing and drugs. It directly encourages crime.
But add a crappy sex scene, and it gets 18+
What about all of those hollywood movies then?

I agree... you should go and see "Tenchi No Akayoshi".. If there was a rating for it it would most likely get 30+ but it's rated 12+
It's about a cancer swelling gone haywire and it actually kills people in a really grotesque way...
I watched the first 15 minutes and i was disgusted... My younger brother actually threw up and he's the kind of guy that feeds on horror...
My advice: take it for granted but Don't watch this movie unless you have a desire to become nausious beyond recognission

You can't... it's a movie (generally people watch these) and even thought it's a movie and not a game i strongly reccomend NOT to even look at the cover... This is for your own safety... /FBI

Then why the hell has it been mentioned here? This is about the Hot Coffee 'scandal' which is just an easy stab at gaming in general for the games-hating media and public members.

Not even that, it's another crack thingy that removes the blurring to reveal ... Action Man-style genetalia-free models underneath. Shocker, that.

Because violence just kills people... nudity however demoralises the masses. :P

Screw it up? This is the best marketing gimmick they've ever done.
Sex in games is nothing new, anyway. I fail to see where exactly the "scandal" lies.

"Screw it up" as in "make stupid methods for commerciallity"
And yes they pulled it off (again). Lot's and Lot's of media attention... (this is starting to look like narciscism)
The scandal is that it's unannounced Sex... If they mentioned it on the back of the cover, there wouldn't be any commotion about it...
