What would be your suggestions on what game to use for that purpose?
I have two already:
- X-Com Apocalypse
- Warhammer 40k: Chaos Gate

Any more?

If I could run Apoc on my computer I would probably already be doing the Apocalypse thread... Sadly, I can't.

I'd prefer Warhammer... just to change a bit!

I could use people in the dynamic OFP campaign... I mean, I have a (stolen) attack helicopter already...

I could use people in the dynamic OFP campaign...The dynamic Operation Flashpoint campaign?
Resistance? Never knew you could edit names there.

I used to play Jagged aliance 2...... I haven't tryed the first one but it seems a good idea. (since the system is the same)

Apocalipse sounds good too although I'm not too fond with the new sistem......

how about Jagged allience? it has an actual compaign.

about OFP thing: if enough of us have OFP, why not have a multiplyer game (with real people, instead of just names)?

Deadly Games has kind of campaigns too. Simple, but so does all the X-Com games. They're simple, but they're random too. I've finished Jagged Alliance, so I doubt I'd like to read through all the story filled posts. And I'd pretty much know what to expect from each of the battles. Same goes with JA2, too.

Deadly Games is a brilliant game. Only the time limit in missions is very annoying, but otherwise my vote goes for Deadly Games.

Or the third X-Com.

actulay I rmebered why myself- money! we all want to be in the game right? but we can hardly do it with price tags over our heads leaking the players budget. could we? and even then, who would get the best protagonists? I want to be lynx, for example, but who will let me?

Operation Flashpoint (I have Resistance, actually)
the rather stange crew:
2 guys with AK47s, 1 guy with an AK47 and his pistol, some guy with an m16, and some guy with an uzi. We've.. aqquired.. a helicopter and a repair truck.
Heck, I've even found a way to change names! maybe.. just edit the savegame and change the name. The people stay until death, so..

I think Ill work on my skills first..

That's why Chaos gate fits (almost) perfectly. The only downside being that you start with 5 marines only and slowly rise to 20 at the end of the game. But it's a killer game no doubt about it.

That doesn't mean that the team cannot be switched around with another one. Altough if we played "Abandonia Gate", there would be little chance for resurrections.

why you don't make a poll so we can vote and the game that have more votes will be played

I'll start a poll on Friday. For now, suggestions are welcome. I'd like to present the people with some choice...

we would still have to start from the beggining, so it shouldn't matter TFG-wise, but offcourse losing a helicopter sucks bigtime. :(

Didnt wanted to start a new topic about it...

But what about NHL game which has possibility to create players? Its not tactical but it could be very interesting.

There could be players in two types of teams: Abandonia and Abandonia Reloaded.

One of which is X-Com Apocalypse. Started by horseman in the thread in 3xBlah.

@Moogle: A Warcraft thing would be cool. We could have a bunch of teams. Which some users would join in each team. But you could make it all the teams computer players. See who wins. I don't know if you can do that in Warcraft 1 (I don't have it). But you can in War2.
