Hi all,

I am looking for an old computergame which I remember vaguely from my childhood, 10-15 years ago.

You had to liberate a little green dot out of a kind of a maze/labyrinth, with the help of magnets and other stuff.

There are several levels, every higher level is more difficult.

Does anyone know what the name of this game could be??

Thanks heaps folks!!!

Deedee

That's no way to treat someone's search Efthimos.
It sounds familair, but I'm afraid I'm not getting anything, do you have any exact details?

Was it a little ball that rolled around and found several obstacles? Was the goal of the game to reach a teleporter to the next level?
If so, I think the game is named Rollin.

Were you a person on the screen? Did it have conveyor belts and slick patches?

No, it doesn't seem to be Rollin.

Neither was I a person on the screen, I unfortunately cannot remember how the player looked like.

The little green dot is in a labyrinth kind of thing with a lot of obstacles, some are moving, some not. They all look very abstract.

I know this is not much information, but I don't have a very distinct image of it myself ... :-(

...
Did it play Duke Ellington's "The Entertainer" in the background?
I think it seems familair.

"The Entertainer" (if it's the same ragtime piece I'm thinking of, the one everyone has heard at one time or another) is by Scott Joplin, not Duke Ellington.

My mistake Jones, yes it's indeed Scott Joplin.

I'm confused with my ragtime artists.

I don't remember if it had The Entertainer in the background...

Would that mean you know which game it is?

I have been looking ALL over the net to find the name.. But no luck so far :-(

Eh, not really.
It's just that I've been searching for a game that has a kinda character that resembles pac-man, and you would need to dodge monsters and etc. to get keys that were on the levels to open doors to other levels.

All the while the Entertainer would be playing in the background.
Don't know the name tho, is it similair?

Yes, it IS kinda similar...

A game playing The Entertainer (btw, I really wouldn't call Duke Ellington a ragtime artist :bleh:) sounds familiar, and that other description sounds familiar. I still think they are two different games I'm thinking of.

Still can't remember neither.

EDIT: Also in the game I'm thinking of you did, if I remember correctly, move around a little guy in a green shirt, so the "green dot" could kinda fit.

Mine was really a green dot, the size was kind of like this smiley :) but without the face and in green.

I don't remember any little guy

Was the dot acting like a ball or baloon? I remember such a game for the series 60 in java. Could it change sizes?

Ok, then it isn't the same game. It still sounded familiar. And might have played The Entertainer.

Well, I'm looking for the one with the Entertainer. :bleh:

As for the green dot one, when last did you play it?

I don't know, must be like 10 or 15 years ago...
efthimios: I don't think the dot was like a balloon nor that it could change size.

Does anyone have any idea where else I could go looking for this game?...

I still don't understand fully how it looks or plays. Do you think you could do a little drawing of what you have on your mind? It might help.

This game sounds familiar. Is it for C64? If it is, is it Labyrinth? Not the LucasFilm one (that's called Labyrinth: The Computer Game)
