Ff7 Chocobo Raising

In Final Fantasy 7(PSX version),i dont know how to raise chocobos. I can capture them and sent them to the chocobo farm,but i cant but them into stables or anything.

Whats wrong?

1. First, you have two capture a male and female ''wonderful chocobo'' and have them produce an egg. The result is a Blue Chocobo, I think. Oh, and to put them in stables, talk to the farmer! You have to pay...

I did bought a couple of stables. But when i choose a chocobo that i want to transfer to the stable,nothing happens.

When the chocobos are inside the fence (in the back side of the farm), talk to the farmers (not sure which one), to see if you've got a ''Wonderful Chocobo'' or not. I'm gonna try and play it again to see if I still remember.
