I have a dumb question.
Is the ORIGINAL version of Pacman abandonware?
And if so, can I upload it even if it is in another language?

It doesn't really affect the game, as there's just one line of text in the game, which is press space to begin, is that okay?

I also ask if the original Starwars by Broderbund is abandonware.

The question is not dumb at all.

The original Pac-Man would be a great addition, but (very sorry to say) unfortunately it is ESA protected (Atarisoft).

I'm sorry, but Broderbund was bought by Ubisoft Entertainment so it's ESA protected as well.

Actually this one was made by Orion Soft, so I guess it might not be the original.

Are you sure it's Pacman then? I think they made PC-man - the game is identical though.

It's called Pac-man, but it's almost completely identical to PC-man.
Orion Soft also made Paratrooper, so is there a glimmer that it might be abandonware?

Sorry for the double post, but wait a minute, mine is called Pac-man, it's by Orion soft, it looks exactly like PC-man, but it's name is Pac-man and it has less colors, here's a shot.

i think it looks cooler with few colours. PAC man is one of these games where you do not need any graphical gimmicks ...
