Rules: 1. All you have to do is ask me questions, on which I can respond with 'Yes' or 'No'
2. R Havell and Tom Henrik both know solution, so when I'm offline (most time I will be in the future) they can answer your questions.
Riddle: One day Guybrush Threepwood entered in bar at Deep Space 9. He was very sad when I saw him entering. But when he get out he smiled like a.... well like a smiley. What happend inside the bar?
Any coincidences with anything other is just coincidence, nothing else.

I guess I will have a lot of fun answering your question!

TheVoid

It's way TOO general, it could have tons of answers.....

1- Deep Space 9 features also a brothel
2- Someone told him a very entertaining joke
3- Deep Space 9 is a gay-bar, he didn't knew it, found Wally drunk who tried to seduce him, and now laughs about the experience.
4- He was reprogrammed by Ron Gilbert to look like a smiley.
5- He's just a dumb idiot.
6- He became a pirate.
7- He had a look at some Abandonia forums.
8- He imagined Stroggy at a communist pride manifestation, and laughed about the idiocy of this thought.
9- He bought a scratch'n'win from the bartender, and won lots of pieces of eight.
10- He got that very pretty girl's telephon number.

ONE OF THESE MUST BE TRUE, CONSIDERING HOW MUCH TIME I PUT ON IT!!!!!!

Unknown Hero
25-08-2004, 09:39 PM

NO! Simpler questions are the only way to solution. This riddle is for team play, not for "I must solve it!" people.

Is the bartender involved in Guybrush's newly-achieved happiness?

Only to receive a "yes".

Guybrush's problem is a physical one?

Guybrush's problem is a psychological one?

Topic open again and a new riddle! Same rules apply as last time, Me, Tom Henrik and Unknown Hero know the answer and you may only ask questions answerable by "Yes" or "No".

A man walks into a restaurant, he takes a seat, orders chicken and waits until his meal arrives. He eats one mouthful of the chicken and immediately runs out of the restaurant and jumps in front of a bus, thereby commiting suicide.

Have fun :sneaky: .

He had been deserted on an Island with three men...One of the men died/was killed and his pal made a soup out of him which he said was chicken soup. When he got to the city again (some savior of kind helped them) he went to a restaurant and had a chicken soup and they both ate it, and because he had never tasted a Chicken soup he didnt see the difference. When he tasted it he found out that it didnt taste any like the soup on the Island and figured he had eaten his partner so he ran out and killed himself?

Close?

1. So there are two men, one inside and the second outside. And of course Mr. G?

2. I was thinking that the riddle didn't contain the answer to WHERE is the bar located?
2.1. Is it near the crossing?
2.2. Or is it near the start of his everyday walking?

3. And it also contained that Mr. G would cross the road to get to his office, but didn't contain WHERE his office IS?
3.1. Right in front of the ROAD?
3.2. Or more walking after the crossing?

4. And is the BAR and the HAMBURGERjoint the same thing?

More Questions later.

All right guys!
If you want I would be willing to tell you the solution of the riddle, but still if you don't want.......... :ok:

Ok, ok! The solution is:
As mr. G entered the bar, he saw his dentist (health-inspector), and the dentist told him that he should eat on the other side (of the mouth of corse), but as mr. G (Guybrush) is stupid as always, he eated on the other side (of the road of corse).

It wasn't so difficult.
Last week my friends (around 12 people) solved it in about 10min!
Shame on you people of abandonia! :not_ok:
