Hey there,

let's do a new game. It's called ":

1. You have to find out the name of the hero OR the game that is shown on the screenshot.
2. If there is no reply to a post within 24 hours anyone may take over to put a new hero in the thread.
3. If it's too hard to guess just by the picture it may be supplied with hints like developer company, year, storyline, etc
4. This competition is limited to DOS games (no windows natives, no amiga, no c64 ... !!!)

1995, Adventure-game with cinematics like that... can only be from Sierra, but I've played nearly all of them, and nothing like that in them. I'd say either Gabriel Knight or Phantasmagoria, and as it's not Gabriel Knight, I bet it's the latter one (Phantasmagoria)

Phantasmacrapia was live acted, so I doubt it that, since that is definatly a artificial image.

Hey, there's no need to get personal, my friend. I stated specifically that I wanted both the name of the game and that of the character, and according to the rules I'm allowed to do that. I was confused when he posted some extract from a Mobygames description, because they aren't usually wrong about such matters, but in this case they were. He's called Bigwig, not Bigfoot. Well, I'm 100% sure my game guess was right (the game box is somewhere on my dusty shelves upstairs) and that was the minimum required knowledge :)

it's quite Ironic- my version of the game crashed after the choice (or at least before any actual game begins) so, I only got to know the names of my choices, which is a shame realy considering how much of a classic this game is. but I'm wandering off topic.
