How about it?
The user could find it useful to know how many times a game has been downloaded.

If it's not too diffucult, it's a nice addition. Maybe even introduce a way to sort the games by number of d/l .

Well, I already have that feature and have it listed in the site statistics. However, I'm reluctant about releasing it to the public because if someone tries to sue me and sees that UFO has been downloaded over 22 thousand times, when you multiply that by its retail price... well, I'd be in deep shit ;)

Might have I point there :). The score already gives an idea about the popularity, and more important the number of posts about that spcific game.

I agree on the download count though: it would be a nice addition, perhaps you just can sort the games on number of downloads without showing the actual count?

I agree with Omuletzu. Also you should add download time ("with 56k modem you'll need 1:05h"), or something like that. And the suggestions (games that you suggest "us" to download).

A think that the goal of Abandonia is to feature games of very high quality, and so EVERY game in it is supposed to be "suggested".
