It seems that you people didn't existed before PC.
I played Dizzy on C64, lot of Dizzy and I have only words of praise (but that's just me). Dizzy is supposed to roll a bit after jumping because he is egg. This doesn't mean that it is mistake. You'll just need to get into his jumping and everything will be fine. That's it, for now.

Dizzy's good and Marko's right - most of you are young. Glad you have so much respect for the classics and enjoy them like we did (almost) 2 decades ago!

My first encounter with Dizzy was at the tender age of 14 (now 25).... *sigh aaah* Dizzy.... but man these ones are trickier..... And talk about addictive.... I've been looking for Dizzy for the last 11 years and it was worth it...

I had all of Dizzy games on my C64. I never got to the end in none of these games. I always missed some hidden coins or gems, or anything that was hidden. But I was less than 10 when I was plaing these ... Good old times. Now I think it's annoying ... adventure game ... items to use - not always easy to find out what and where ... and one bad step and you are dead ... You felt in lava, You are eaten by crocodile, you drowned ... GRRR

But that made me a patient person :ok:

Didn't know about the game: very cool game.

Like the reviewer, I also wished I could save my progress: I wonder how easy it would be to implement in DosBox a way to save a snapshot of the memory, so that you could then re-load the game from that point...

It looks like someone is working on adding save/load support for DosBox:

You can just press Alt+F9 to dump a mem snapshot to the disk, and then load the thing with Alt+F5. This game (and the rest of the Dizzy series) will become even more awesome with this feature in!
