Hello
I used to play an old game on my 486, I think. It was with a wizard in a castle. You controled the wizard with the mouse, if I can remember correctly, and you could see him from above. You opened dors ans sometimes you got attacked by spyders. And that's about all I can remember.
Does anyone know about this game? I've looked over all 130 pages of abandonia but couldn't find it.

There are a few games like that, one of which was remade recently, though I do not remember the link.

No, sorry. It's not Spooky Castle and it's not Atic Atac.
I remebered something else about the game. You could see the wizard from above but not like in Grand Theft Auto. I mean, from above like he was outside your house and you were on the balcony, looking down at him. Kinda like in Diablo II. And it was 3D. You moved him with the mouse too, just like in Diablo II. You had potions, I think. And to recover your health you ate some food. And the graphics were kinda good. Just as good as the animation films from Dune II, so I'm guessing it was VGA and not CGI. But that's just a guess, had a monochrome screen back then. That's about it.
Thanks for your answers, guys!

3d?? are you sure? so it was something relatively new? you said you played it on your 486
was it NoX? (not 3d but fragile minds think so)

Is there a possibility that you remember some things wrong (i.e. mouse movement, and 3D graphics)?
Here's a game where you play as a wizard in some castle-like place, anyway:

Same isometric perspective, too. :p

I'm guessing it was not 3D. The view is just like it is in the last picture. The wizard was old and short and the pathways of the castle were narrower than those in the last picture. But I'm sure he was controlled by mouse, just like in Diablo II. Sorry for confusing you. I don't have that clear of a picture. It was a long time ago...

Sorry guys. :( It's none of the above. Damn... I wish I could remember...
I've been thinking about it really hard and not much has come up. So : old game, wizard in a castle, spiders, sometimes the tiles in the floor are switches, you find potions and you ate pieces of food (chicken wings and so on;oh, and sometimes the food was poisoned). And that's a bout it.
Hope this helps and thanks for helping me thus far!
