Okay, so I'm the first. I will share my music one-by-one becouse of my low bandwith. I just uploaded my very first music ever created.

You can get it HERE (http://leviathan.srv.hu/music/gothichorror.mp3) !

Download, listen and tell me your opinion. Remember, this is my very first music, don't be harsh on me  . And this is my favorite too!

Nope, the file is good. I jus tried it from the server. Try to download it again

Sebatianos

OK - I guess it was because I had firefox - I can't download with firefox, it just opens up and I can listen to it...
Used IE now and it worked.

It's still just 1 second long though - but it sounds good (if put on repeat) otherwise it's to fast and I can hardly hear it.

Dang I need to install reason, so I can convert songs I made into MP3...
I think I have some midi files though...

Playbahnosh
18-06-2005, 10:28 PM
Huh?

I tried it again, and there is no problem with the file. Check the file lenght, and delete the temporary internet files, becouse if you download the same file from the same location again, it just loads from the temp dir of your machine...

Sebatianos
18-06-2005, 10:38 PM
Nope - I'm on a different machine at the moment (cleaning up the big mosnter - so I hooked up the lap-top). All I get is 1 second of music. I'd love to hear more - sounds like an awedome techno track.

Tulac
18-06-2005, 10:39 PM
I'm downloading it right now, will edit this post, when I'm finished...

@Playbahnosh: Which program are you using do make music?

EDIT: *done* I can hear the song...
Now I'm not a big fan of trance, but I used to make techno songs when I was bored, and I have to say your song is pretty good :ok: especially for a first try, I like how effects are mixing with each other...

Sebatianos
18-06-2005, 10:46 PM
OK - I finally have the whole thing (it was the winamp - didn't wanna play it).

Excelent stuff.
With what programe did you make it?

Shunk Eat Enemy
18-06-2005, 10:47 PM
now thats pretty good there maybe we could use it for our abandonia game because it seems like that music i hear in games you just play for hours witch kinda makes it fun :ok:

Playbahnosh
18-06-2005, 11:10 PM
Oh gosh!

I never though you'll actually like it! It is indeed my very first music ever created with the demo version of Dance Ejay 2 and some custom imported self-made cut-offs.

If I was to name a song, that ultimatly describes me, this would be it!!!

Thanks guys! And I gladly promote my music to the Abandonia game too :D

I have a few more to come, I just have to upload them they are 20 megs so hang in there :D

Tulac
18-06-2005, 11:18 PM
So you used premade samples and melodies, or you made them by yourself? Or a little bit of both?

Playbahnosh
18-06-2005, 11:29 PM
:D What did you expect for a first music? I'm no Mozart :D
Of course, I used premade samples, cuz that's eJay all about, but I used my own cutoffs as well. And it is hard work to find the samples from the many that I like and select those that actually match and sound good together. I made this music in two weeks actually :D some of the others are somewhat simiral due to the same program, but different in the feeling. Believe me, they are all about feelings I tried to implement into my songs.

EDIT: You should know, that I made this music 5 years ago

PrejudiceSucks

LOL I have the full versions of Dance Ejay 2+ and Hip-Hop Ejay 3.

I might put some of my stuff up here in a bit.

Hey PS, I have some .mix files still neds to be exported, but the demo expried 4 years ago, so I can't :)

I mader some tunes with FL Studio 5 too. Got that program as a gift a couple of months ago, but still don't understand many features

But I had some tries with random things that made actually some great tunes. As soom I get them up to my server, I'll let you know :D

Tulac
19-06-2005, 11:29 AM
FL 5 is the best program for beginners with music, I advise you to read the getting started manual, once you get things you'll se how actually powerful this program is...
I started with 2.6 version, a few years ago, so I can tell you that this program evolved from a simple sequencer to a truly powerful tool...

Playbahnosh
19-06-2005, 12:03 PM
Okay people, prepare for my next song in line. Concrete Nightmare is my second ever created music, so threat it well :D

I'll contribut this to Abandoni game too if you like it. Made with the same program as the other :D It is more trancy and uses less effect, in fact at first it containd a whole lot of effect, but I just de-effected it for easy listening :)

You can find it HERE (http://leviathan.srv.hu/music/concretenightmare.mp3) :ok:

I appreciate your effort, yet you cannot expect people to have already lots of self-made music to share, no? Give'em time! ;)

I like this topic, so I'll post a short song I played with the tinwhistle or flageolet, the simplest and worst sounding flute in tha world! (actually it can turn out quite nice, but not my rusty one played by scuh a bad player as me :P )

Thoughts In A Rainy Day (http://www.abandonia.com/~thevoid/audio/Rain.mp3)

I already posted it somewhere in the music forum.

Edit: And your second song is quite cool, I expecially like the beginning, the end is a bit, uh well not abrupt, but I feel that a fading effect would have fit better. Overall good :ok:

Playbahnosh
21-06-2005, 12:00 AM
Hey Void! That was COOL! :ok: Don't be hard on yourself, if I could play like you, I'll be more than happy. And your song is also cool :ok: but it seems you have problems with high-piched notes :) Anyways, I liked that music :D

Finally some action! :Brain:

Here's another gem from my album. I like this one! I tried to make a music that resembles Hungarian folks music. I made this, a little techno flavored folksy like music. This is my third song in line... :D

You can get it HERE (http://leviathan.srv.hu/music/Folksy.mp3) :ok:

PS: I'll be happy if you'll say something about my songs, not just only one. If it is good or bad, I just want to know how do people like my creations :D

Playbahnosh, I can only download 1 second of each of your songs, but what I hear sounds good. :ok:

I would recommend you to subscribe to www.acidplanet.com! It's a great music sharing site with charts and review features. All free, and you can upload an unlimited amount of songs. Users can review songs from each other and visitors can quickly preview the songs. It all works very well.

And Void. You're not playing very bad! And I like the sound of the flute. btw have you made that song yourself or is it an existing song?

I recently subscribed to acidplanet too and uploaded some songs already:

See it here (http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?songs=378787&T=1283)!

They were all made with FL Studio 5.

I can play all you guyses songs except for.......Playbahnoshs. When I click it, the computer dies and I have to pull the plug. :(

Void: I second play. Very nice sounding song :ok: , but the high notes are shaky. Thats okay, I have the same problem.

Playbahnosh
21-06-2005, 08:12 PM
What the FFFFF? :omg:

I checked my server again I can download them without problems :uh:
Others had complained about the one-second-bug too, but I don't know what's the problem
Try to download it with MS Explorer, I think that fixes it. I use GetRight 5.1 and I have absolutely no problem so far...

@Koen

I apprichiate your advice, but I have 56K Dial-up. It was more than enough to upload my songs ONCE. I don't have the time to upload them again elsewhere, sorry :(

I'm very sad about the problems here, I wanted to create a useful and fun topic. Sorry everybody

i've just discovered this nice thread and thought i'd might contribute something.

but i hope that does not prevent you from checking 'em out...

Dreamtrap (http://www.kunstundklangwelten.de/music/strobe/Strobe-Dreamtrap.mp3)
(slow breakbeats)

Sigh of the Siren (http://www.kunstundklangwelten.de/music/strobe/Strobe-SighoftheSiren.mp3)

(chillout)

short loop (http://www.aktentaeter.de/abandonia/classical.mp3)
(classic music)

these pieces have all been done with "Reason".

@ playbahnosh:
alas, i was not able to download "concrete nightmare". the file transfer
got aborted somehow...
but i was lucky with "gothic horror"! while listening i got all "whooo", this
one's really fast-paced and dynamic. love those melodies and the track's build-up!
very atmospherical...it almost made me  ! great stuff, respect!

please, show us more of your music! :ok:
btw, what software have you used to create this?

@ void:
yes, i have listened to that track a few months ago, still it's very nice indeed :ok: !!

I1ll be avalible in the weekend, if on my funeral, then there...

Thanks for all those great reviews, I really don't deserve it, I'm just an amateur :) But thanks, really! You make me feel awesome! :D

So, I don't get fumbled, I'll come back to you and share all my musics :D

Wish me luck!

Indignus IV

WTF..............Play!!!!!!

I got it to work and it is awesome!!!!!!!!(the gothic horror one)

It is utterly flawless!!!!! Reminds me of Electric Light Orchestra. 25 or more thumbs up! :ok: :ok: :ok: :ok: :ok: :ok:

Listen, can I have the file for my ipod? it would sound great on it!!!!!

The one on my computer is listen-only, can I have it for download?

If I have to criticize it a bit it would be this:

Put some "hard" instruments in there like guitar and deeper drums

Also, if you wrote some lyrics and had somebody record for you, it would be perfect!

Make it some kind of love song........awesome!!

I gotta buy you a beer!

Make more!

Edit: oh, and give me concretenightmare too! They are all awesome!!!

Edit2: folksy is not really my type. But I can think of lots of people who would really like that! You should go commercial with your music, playbahnosh! I would buy your albums.

Edit3: you say you "deeffected" concrete nightmare. Can you add the effect again? I looove effect in an electronica song!

Playbahnosh
25-06-2005, 09:11 AM
The Gothic Horror is my first song and I'm most proud of that of all my songs :D
Sorry, but I had to add the Original and the Copyright bit in the encoding, so nobody could steal it and claim it as their creations. I heard some wierd and disturbing storied on the net regarding licence and song plagium. I don't want that to happen to me, sorry. I also put some unique sounds in all of my songs that cannot be heard normally but if I want to, I can prove that, that is my song.
I am overcautious in this, but you cannot be enough...

I de-effected it, becouse that song was effected for the clip I imagined, and as I saw, those were just too much. I cannot re-effect the song, becouse my Dance eJay 2 copy's trial expried 5 years ago

I'll upload some other songs shortly that has more "hard" parts in it, so stay tuned :D

PrejudiceSucks
25-06-2005, 09:41 AM

It's the best eJay.

Playbahnosh
25-06-2005, 09:56 AM
Thanks PS but I don't have money for that :ok:
Besides, I have other eJays that can make great songs too :D

Indi, you wanted hareder tunes, harder tunes you'll get!
Behold! Rolling Tunes is here! My first song with another music maker, enjoy and tell me your opinion:

You can get Rolling Tunes HERE (http://leviathan.srv.hu/music/RollingTunes.mp3) :ok:

25-06-2005, 03:55 PM
DAMN! :pissed:

My one-second-bug developed into a two-second-bug. Great... :ranting:

I don't know what it with all the downloading problems. I can download just fine. I want to my friend's and he can download it too. I phoned to my friend to the other end of the country, he said my music is great( :D ). So I really don't know what is with it. My server admin emailed me that try downloading the file more times, that should help.

I'm really sorry about this

Okay I've found the right topic now ;)

Here's an old impulse tracker tune I made a couple of years ago

Haunted Mind (http://www.marnixhemmes.nl/_music/it/01%20-%20Haunted%20Mind.it)

The extension is .it and is playable using winamp. Don't mind the low quality, it's part of the charm ;) Feel free to experiment with it yourself if you feel like it, but if you do please let me know and let me hear the results. Tnx :)

Playbahnosh

That song is GREAT! espaciall made with Impulse Tracker :ok:
It sound if it just jumped out of some classic horror game :D

I'll have a good listen to the rest later on

You can read all about Reason on http://www.propellerheads.se/. It's a very powerful program once you have it and fully understand how it works (that might take a while though). Unfortunately this software is neither free or cheap. Fortunately I have a big brother in the music buisiness :sneaky:

This is an example of what I made about 8 months ago:

Koen

@Spoon: The Search has a nice intro, but there seem to be some notes out of key. might wanna check it. The other songs sound like they come from a movie or something, they're a bit cinematic. Like that :)

@Playbahnosh: I still can't download any of your songs :/

And I promised to post my next song in playbahnosh's music club, so here it is. A bit of an experimental song I made within 4 hours. I wanted to try using a guitar+piano with a dance beat, and it worked out quite well...

Possible solutions: Get a download manager like GetRight and download with that. Use Winamp 5 and play with that. And delete the temp files from yer computer before download.

In order to contribute, I offer some slow prog....

Dream Offering (http://www.mannequinarts.com/RichardComptonsDream.mp3)

Just in case you want the lyrics;

There are Faces On the Wall,
They make my skin crawl,
They speak of things to come,

My face is melting like a
Thousand candles in the night,

My heart is sinking like a ship
To depths unknown,

Poison on her finger-tips,
Rings of smoke drift from her lips,

They are free again,
They are free again,

I cant seem to care,
There's no answer to my prayers,

There are faces in the wall,
They continue to stare.

(spoken ending)

Wind blows up from the valley,
and brings the sweet smell,
of burning herbs,

A songbird sings,
sweet offerings,
To the mountain,
To the king of dreams.

The beat in the song is ok, the main melody is odd, but you could make that sound much better with usong effects like reverb and delay, it's incredible how better it'll sound then, well you're new to FL6, but play with effects you'll see it's worth it ;)

Also some pads would come handy into the song to make the sound richer...

This is all IMO...

Playbahnosh
05-02-2006, 10:11 PM
The main melody is odd on purpose :D you haven't guesses probably but it is Slayer with some cool over-tuning and effects :D I'm sorry bout the pads but I havent found a pad that is suited to the music and, to tell the truth I was too lazy to figure one out using 3xOSC :D

Tulac
05-02-2006, 10:22 PM
Well to tell you the truth you're better of finding some good samples for pads then using 3xOSC, with that you get mostly crappy "amateurish" sound...

Yeah I thought iz was slayer with all the sliding...

Playbahnosh
06-02-2006, 07:47 AM
Well finding a good pad is my worst enemy now, I just can't seem to find one that suits. I used to make it with 3xOSC and that works most of the time. Using InvSaw2 some cool pads could be done. And I'm off to figure out Sytrus now, that can be a great asset :D

Well, I made a song, too and thought I might as well post it here:

Suicide (http://www.x-gamez.de/don_andy/Suicide.MP3)

It's a pretty basic song, made with Dance Ejay7, called "Suicide". It actually has some kind of sense, I wonder if anyone gets why the song is actually called Suicide ^_^

Hmm...not bad at all dude :ok: the main solo is a bit static, try using more tones next time and some effects will do, all in all not a bad work at all :ok:

Thanks ^_^
It's actually meant to be a bit monotonous. I'll just explain the whole sense about the song:
It is called Suicide, so it is about Suicide (what, really? :P )
The song symbolize some kind of everyday work, as one can see in the repeating samples. These everydayworks get more and more (like getting more work or making a career), so the number of "instruments" increases. It gets more and more hectic, until the stress reaches a critical point, symbolized by the "sirens" in the background. After that, the final short sound, which could be taken for the "shot in the head" (or whatever kind of suicide), since the person couldn't cope with all the work and stress and after that, Silence, death.

Hope you could understand what I mean, had some troubles explaining it ^_^

And to calm everyone down, this is only an idea, and not based on my or anyones life XD

aaaw, so that's it :P

No really, you need to use more samples, more tones and effects to archive the lucidness you are talking about. Monotonus can not only be a single tone but repeated sequences are better, say 2/4 beat repeat. Try it next time, and use some real life cut-offs for the sirens or some pads :ok:

Hey nothing wrong with making your dreams and thoughts into music, the music will live if you do, it'll have a story and the listeners can hear that if you are good. Hmmm I kinda want to see the new version of Suicide what it's ready :ok: Really, do it :ok:

Well...
It sounds like a sound curtain for something. It's like a background sound for a movie, that would play when a person is driving through the night and some lights (probably neon signs) are reflecting back off the windows of the car.

It's well made, but it seems like it's a mathematical equasion. Now the drums, now the sound effects, now the piano, now the rythm change, some more drums and the piano again...

It sounds nice - would be great music to listen to to simply forget about everything (I'll certainly download it and burn it, to listen to in my car). I'll probably put it along with songs like Children by Robert Miles...

But I don't see how this is a valentine's song... I felt no emotion from it. Just percision and serenity while on the move (one could say, feeling safe, knowing you were able to run away from something).

EDIT: Is there a way of downloading without having to register?

Playbahnosh
19-02-2006, 03:06 PM
well yeah...

to tell the truth I made this song to sound calm, to give a feeling of infinity and serenity. To give a flowing feeling. I intenteded this song to be something that could be listened while on the road, or while lieing on the bed daydreaming or something...

Mathematical? I tried to do the buildup more fluent, but I know far less in FL Studio to make that possible. I added that wooshing effect to soften the beat change but that's all I could do about it.

Anyway, thanks for the review :ok:

Okay people, I uploaded another three songs to AcidPlanet!
Rolling Tunes, Summer Glow and Mux.

I think some variety will lift my crippled reputation somewhat...

You can get them ***HERE*** (http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?songs=389104&T=4163)

Be sure to write an opinion when you are done :ok: And yes, you have to register to download the songs, but I strongly advise you to do that because converting my MP3s to WMA damages their sonic quality quite a bit, and I don't like to be misjudged

Nice, I really like Mux!
It sounds really...
Dunno, just sounds weird and I like it. :D
Enjoyed the others too, you're making some good stuff!

Really man, you got talent.

@Seb - It sounds like that because that's largely how Electronica and Techno plays. That's kinda what attracts people to it, it largely builds up and gets more intense as it goes on.

Thanks for explaining that. I had no idea what real electronic music sounds like, becaue I've never heard of great masters of it (like Mike Oldfield or Vangelis, but if you really wish newer people Robert Miles, ) and I also slept through the 90s, so I've no clue what techno is (you mean old school house like DJ Pierre, Something like Sven Vath or Carl Cox, Tom Wilson, or something more like DJ Quicksilver, Sash!, Fatboy Slim).

Well, the songs that are up there now are more of the same (except for the song Gabi, which does stand out just a little bit) and sory to say, not very original. I'm sure it's great stuff to roll in clubs as the backgroud soundeffects to half crazed high-on-ex teens, but to listen to more then three tracks at the same time would simply be too much.

Muxi in fact reminded me a lot on The Abyss (by The Phantom). Sorry man, but for me it's the early volumes of Techno Tracks all over again.

I'm really proud of Mux myself. I used all the usable samples in Techno eJay I could to make it. The bass drum is fluent and it is on most of the time providing a base, a feeling of continuity. I put in two unexpected very sharp brakes (the one with the cricket sound and the other one with the girl saying "brake"), I think it give some variety. I tried to mix the pads and the leads to blend together and another time to differ a lot. I think I achieved that weird feeling I wanted :D

@Seb

Sorry dude but this is what Dance eJay 2 and Techno eJay 2 has to offer, I done what I could to make them sound cool, sorry if I missed the bus. But then again, make better ones if you can :bleh:

I just started in FL Studio so I'm not working with premade samples anymore, but thats what makes it even more harder to come up with decent tunes. Gabi stands out because that (and Feel!) was now made in FL Studio...

Sorry to hear that this kinda music not your piece of cake... :(

I really enjoyed all the effects in Mux, like the radio chatter, and the crickets and etc.
Really great job with it, I enjoyed it alot.

@Seb - It hardly seems like your criticism is constructive, and you just seem to be putting Play down.
You're being really harsh right now, and I don't even see your point, it sounds good, and I wanna listen to it, so I don't really feel more of a need to comment.

Well, I listen to music objectivly (meaning I can like something a lot and still critisize it). I don't like everything that has quality and most definetly some things I do like have no quality at all...
To stop using premade samples is a step in the right direction. Can't you make some samples on your own (maybe not even with a computer, but simply record them with a microphone)? That would certainly add to originality, otherwise it's just the matter of rearanging something, that has already been heard.

@Piggy:
Well, Play seems to be a bit more then simply a user of music making tools. He's trying to make something good, so I don't want to be so shallow to just say - I like it, or not my cup of tea.

Blood-Pigggy
19-02-2006, 04:05 PM
Well try to be more precise with your comments then.
Just don't say "It's not original" or "It doesn't sound right".

I liked the sound effects for example, so he might want to keep those, but I don't think you're giving him enough points to improve on.

@Seb

FL Studio has a huge range of instruments, effect pads and filters built into it. I just started to discover all the features it has and only using a small portion of it, it has more buttons, switches, knobs and gizmos than on a space shuttle. Ask Tulac, he has experience with FL Studio. You can also download the demo, go take a look, let's see if you can actually make music with it :ok: I'm not mocking you, just wanted you to see how insanely hard to come up with decent tunes while NOT using the built in sequences.

Recording with microphone? Like what? I don't have any instruments in the dorm (sadly). Though I can play keys(piano, synthetizer, organ) well, learned for 4 years. If I had a decent microphone (I only have one attached to my headset) I could go out and record some stuff....BUT... I can't sing :( I don't have a great voice therefore I never made a song with lyrics in it. I was wondering if I could actually make a song with lyrics using Speech Synthetizer in FL Studio, but that would be insanly hard to make it sound reasonable. In case you wondering, yes there is MY voice on the song Feel! :D the "feeeeeeel..." voice is mine, added some reverb, some delay, flanger and viola, a nice voice effect :D

Hey y'all, I thought it was about time I shared some of my creations

This track hasn't really got a title, but I've dubbed it 'Curiousity Killed Alice'. I finished it about a week ago and it doesnt fit in with either of my current projects, so it's homeless atm.

It'd be better to download it than stream I think..

Any thoughts are welcome

Heres a little piece I've been working on, this is second take. Its kinda bluesie....

Richard Compton - Blue (http://www.richardcompton.net/media/blue.zip)

I think the highhats are a little to loud.... not sure though.

@Gelfo
I like your track Gelfo.... im curious though.... yes, curious.... curiouserrrrrrr... *YIKES* its in my head!!!!!!!

No, seriously, its awsome! :ok:

I really am curious, what programs did you use? What were the sources for your sounds?

Its industrial in a sense.... listening causes serious disorientation...... in a good way.

Thanks for sharing Gelfo!

Hey yo, dug it. It's very very bluesy. I liked the vocals and the lyrics. I did however find that the main riff got a little repetitive, could have done with being switched up every 4 bars or something.. (but I can't talk about repetition ;) )
I have another of your songs too on my PC? Dream Offering.. I suspect I got it from this thread.. or in another thread on this forum. But I like your feel very laid back. The hats.. I guess could do with tweaking, but they're fine as they are, not aurally offensive.. through my speakers anyway.

My goal is to move away from using beats as the backbone to my tracks, but I have this disease where I just chuck a beat onto everything, it's annoying. The main CD I'm working on (and have been for years) is mental and progressing away from the more beaty stuff.

Anyway for that track I used Fruity Loops for sequencing, yeah people sneer at it and say it's for beginners, but there's nothing you can't do with it and I feel it offers a lot of freedom. And I used wavelab for editing and cleaning etc. I truly believe it's not what your tools can do, it's what you can do. I take my sounds from everywhere, the low frequency sound was a slowed Digeridoo sample I pulled from an ethnic instruments sample CD, the drums half were from my Drum Machine and the others came from various sources and packs I'd found on the net (heavily modded) and the other instruments were from soft synths, probably.

I've uploaded this track too for you, it's quite an old song.. I think I made this in 2002? It's more chilled than the other one and has vocals.

*EDIT* Thanks for your kind words btw

@SixApes

well that was...very blue... I immediatly imagined a video clip, in black and white you sit on a bench in a deserted wild-western town with a guitar and make a very sad face. It was weird in a good meaning, well done dude :ok: I like the riffs and the lirics though, as Gelfo said, it gets a little repetative after a while, but I think that's just it what creates that atmosphere.... cooool :)

@Gelfo

Well Alice sure gets it in that one :D now should I ask "WHO THE *meep* IS ALICE?" :D Not bad at all! That industrial feeling is...um...very...industral? yeah, that's it. You should get a wee bit more vocals in there and it should be all good :ok: Not bad at all, you done well dude :ok:

Well the next one is...wierd.
If you intended it to sound if you were high on dope, it's a bullseye dude :D To tell the truth, after some time, I kinda started feeling *I* was high on dope which was very creepy. I'm not into rap myself, so I showed it to my friend who dig this kinda music, just for the sake of the objective review. Well he was more or less on the same opinion as me. You DO sound like riding the white pony :D To tell the truth I didn't understand all of your lyrics, but from what I did I think it's good :ok: It's just probably me, but I can't get a full opinion on this one considering the genre difference, but I think it must be some cool music you have there dude, well done :ok:

If you are using FL Studio or any other like that, you should try to play with the reverb and filters a little, believe me it can do wonders, make your songs sound less sterile and it give some depth to it. I already hear you do use delays on your vocals, and that is good. Keep up the good work :ok:

I'll release my latest work as soon as I finish it. I took the liberty and gone off the genre scale here. I'm doing an acoustic(kareoke) version of a Nightwish song, Ever Dream. It is pretty nasty stuff, I havent figured out how to blend in the electric guitars and the short pauses between strumms, but I'm on it.

Okay people, keep postin, I'd really like to hear some great tunes about now ;)

Gelfo

Cheers for the words governer ;)

Although I do have my roots in hiphop, I'm not sure you could call that track a "rap" song.

Anyway, I use a fair bit of reverb here and there, but I don't tend to play around much with filtering, that's an avenue I haven't explored too much currently

Playbahnosh
09-04-2006, 08:32 PM
Oh you should take a look at automation clips in FL Studio. Get a filter and automate the cutoff knob like a flanger, you'll get an interesting effect. I used that in my last song the Feel... ;)
